Wipeout Fusion

"Wow."

Wipeout Fusion is the fourth game in the Wipeout series. After playing the Wipeout for N64, I thought it was great so I gave this a try.

Gameplay: 10/10
The gameplay in this game is nothing like any other racing game I've seen. You can upgrade your car, earn different tracks, and even get special weapons. You race these anti-gravity machines down a track exceeding 1000kph! I found that going so fast made the cars extremely hard to control, but once you play for awhile you get used to it. Thats not all. There are many race options also (Ex. AG Leage). There are 7 tracks, with LOTS of weapons.

Graphics: 9/10
The graphics in this game are the best I've ever seen. From the intro in the beginning to the credits at the end, the graphics are brilliant. You race over many sweet environments such as desert, asphalt, snow, and water (yes water). The added effects add even more realism to the game. In one race it could be snowing, or in another raining. In one race the sun could be blaring, making it harder to see, or another racers afterburner will glare your view. Dust shooting up from the dirt is there also. The thing that i hated most was the slooow loading time between races.

Sound: 10/10
I loved the sound. It definitely adds to the fast paced, high speed racing, and will surely get your adrenaline going. The main music features the sound of London, BT, Timo Maas, Orbital, Luke Slater and more.

The sounds of the crafts are great also. You can hear the humming of your craft as you race around the track. The weapons sound nice when hitting another racer, and the on bored computer even warnes you when your about to get hit, or your shield energy is low.

Controls: 10/10
The controls are hard if you're new to the Wipeout series but you'll eventually get used to it. If you still can't get used to them you can even customize the controls. There isn't a lot more to say about the controls.

Replay Value: 10/10
This game will keep you coming back for more. You'll play this game for hours and it will never get boring.

Overall: 10/10
This game definitely adds to the Wipeout series. You'll have lots and lots of fun playing this. This is a must get game for any racing or video game fan. Get it now or you'll regret it!!
