NBA Street

"An out-of-this-world game"

NBA Street is a one of a kind. If any game could compare to it that would be NBA Jam. This game gives you everything for hours of fun again and again. I've had the game for quite some time now and have just realized you can post reviews on games. I just recently posted one for ATV Off Road Fury. NBA Street gives you a whole new prospective on hoops.

Graphics:
These graphics are pretty good for the most part. Though NBA Live the graphics have improved. But now NBA Street gives you graphics that one up them. Even though it's just a basketball game and graphics aren't the man topic of interests, unlike RPG's, NBA Street still has good enough graphics to make you notice them.

Gameplay:
This game gives you hours of fun again and again. You can go career mode and go 3 on 3 with the best of the best or hold the court against random challengers. During the game in career mode you can steal players from other teams you beat which is a great feature. The only thing I would've done to make it harder is to have the other team steal from you if they win!

Control:
The controls are a bit for confusing. Since now instead of one turbo you have four. And with all the different combos you can do you might get lost. But after a couple of games you get use to it and then you can rock the rim!

Sound:
The sound is unbelievable. During the game you get an awesome track that you don't get bored of. And the players even taunt each other with I thought was a nice tough. The announcer ''Joe the Show'' sits there and talks ''smack'' to both teams. Which is great I think. He even gives you a few hints if you listen closely.
Score: 10/10

Replay:
Now usually I get sick of a game after playing it once but this game I still play. After you beat career mode you got to beat hold the court and can even beat career mode 2 more times to get the other two characters. It's load of fun that keeps you busy for hours over and over again.

Challenge:
The challenge is easy on No Game(EASY) yet difficult on Mad Game(HARD). I lost a few times on Mad Game(HARD) and had difficult on the least likely teams to have difficulty with. I guess it depends on which team you pick in the beginning.

Final:
All-in-all NBA Street is loads of fun. People who don't even like basketball get a kick out of this game.

Buy it or rent it or neither:
Everyone should have this game in their collection of PS2 games. Buy it its worth the couple of bucks. If your really unsure then rent it once. That should make up your mind.
