NCAA Football 2003

"A Dissapointing game"

I do not see what all the Hype is. It is far and below Madden which will remain the king in EA's pocket.

even NCAA 2002 was better the players move fluidly sometimes but others you'll see their arms pass right through someone and not tackle them There could be some touches here and there to make a better game. and the play how it zooms out all of a sudden can be quite dissorenting.

Sound 8
I want commentary all the time! This game has an annoying generic speaker voice to say all the options... 1st and 10... etc. The commentator that they do have tho is good and funny enough sounds like ric flair from the WWE. The sounds of the colliding players and the reaction from the team and crowd is quite realistic. They could have done better on the Fight songs tho... some teams don't even have their real fight song... just a crowd song that no one cares about. I HATE Oklahoma but it would have been nice to hear it.

FINALLY THE OPTION IS HERE! one big thing missing from Madden 2002 was the LATERAL... i mean come on... the Titans had the most recent surprise of the lateral. and its not even in madden. NCAA is far and above in that part The game feels unfinshed and why why why can't they keep the same system as previous years for the buttons? I just want to dive into the game... not remember the Linemen button, the Linebacker Audible button and why why why did they get rid of the double tap X to bring up the button placecards above each player.... from going to madden to ncaa in the same day its easy to not get used to it...

Menu System 6
The game could use more options and what's with this ''what's your favoite team'' thing at the beginning... Its cute at first but otherwise gets old. Doesn't really take away from the overall experience tho and that is the CORE GAME which is good.

Overall 7 (not an average) This game could have used alot more touches on it but it overall feels like its not quite done. Madden 2003 will rule if it keeps its true formula if not... watch out for NFL2k3... did I Mention it doesn't feel finished? lol If only they put more into it instead of everything on the perfect madden <which is not bad by the way.> but do more!
