"Slam dunk!"

I have to say that this game is one of my all time favorites. I have rented this game around five times. I don't remember how I got into the basketball scene really. I think this game got me to know every player in the game by the time I was really done. This is my review:

Gameplay: 10/10
Very addictive gameplay. They have all the teams in the line up and more. Many different modes of play, the one you probably want to do is franchise mode. Fantasy franchise mode lets you pick a team and let you pick you players. You can get lucky if you get someone really good or towards the end you'll get the worst. Now once you have done this you'll go to the franchise menu where you can trade, sign, or even cut players. You get eighty-two games for the season, enough to keep you down for a long while hopefully. After the season is over you sign and re-sign players. You get eight games for preseason and you start over.

Story: Well it depends if you want to go to certain modes: season or franchise. But altogether the goal is the same, win the championship.

Sound: 10/10
Sounds varies a bit in this game because you can have television sound, court sound, or even the announcements on the loudspeaker and more! You can hear the shoes, the net, and the players. It all comes down to everything in the stadium, well at least just everything else but the bathrooms and popcorn guys.

Graphics: 10/10
Phenomenal! In the graphics you get everything! I mean everything down to Iverson's finger bands, team logos on the shorts, the shine on the court, and even the home teams balloon up in your face during a free throw! The characters on the game look great, I looked at most of the characters very closely, you can see polygons only in the shoulders during a replay that you can trigger

Control: 10/10
Control is the best I've ever seen. If you release the button for the throw the player will. It's that simple. Free throws are kind of hard but they are supposed to be that way. Offense and defense do great in this game.

Replay: 10/10
I know this because I did this. If you play through half of the season you will get bored and stop playing for awhile, then you'll go back and start playing again. It does get tiring but all sports games are like this.

Buy or Rent?: With this game it's hard to say. If you buy it it'll go out of date then you need an update, if you rent it you won't have a lot of time to play it. It's better to buy though if anything.

Overall: 10/10
Great game! I love it. It's a good looking basketball game with easy controls and nice sound. One of the best that you and I will ever play.
