Pro Evolution Soccer

"FIFA is PES' toilet"

To be honest, i didn't really buy Pro Evolution Soccer until about 2 weeks after its release, no one really said anything about it. Until one day, about 10 million people told me that Pro Evolution Soccer is the most realistic and best football/soccer game ever, so i decided to buy it. I've been a big fan of FIFA games so i didn't really buy the game straight away, but now Pro Evolution Soccer is my best football/soccer game ever. Here is my review on PES:

Graphics
Most people think the graphics on Pro Evolution Soccer are totally crap, but not me. It doesn't really bother me that the graphics are not top quality, i'm too addicted to the gameplay and i don't even notice the graphics. Although you can make out who looks like who, like Zinedine Zidane does look quite real. The Graphics are not too bad, but most people think they are crap, not me.

Sound
In a great football/soccer games comes great commentary done by some good commentators. In Pro Evolution Soccer, two unknown commentators do the commentary, and they are really bad at it. At the end of a match, the main commentator will say:

''So, what did you think of the match?''. Then he will reply saying: ''I thought it was an exciting match..'' and then he will say ''That's it from us, goodbye''. It really is pretty crap, they sound like they are some kind of robots. The commentary is 2002 FIFA World Cup is much more better than Pro Evolution Soccer's, but it doesn't really bother you as you will be addicted to the game.

Gameplay
Amazing, totally rules. In FIFA games it is too easy to perform an excellent shot on goal, like an overhead bicycle kick or a tremendous volley shot. On Pro Evolution Soccer it is hard to perform them. At first, i couldn't even hit the target on goal, and i was losing about 2-0. Then i practiced and practiced but the game is still good. You will not get any 13-1 scores like in the FIFA games, in Pro Evolution Soccer the score will end at 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 2-0, 1-0 etc etc. It is hard but totally fun. I mean, what is better than playing Argentina in the final of a cup and in the 89th minute you score a goal? You will just go mental, but in FIFA games you will just sit there and be bored, as it is too easy. The controls are good, if you've played 2002 FIFA World Cup, you don't have to hold the button down for more power in your passes, all you have to do is press X and it will go to the person. Long passes and shots, however, you will have to hold the button down for more power. The controls are great, the gameplay is great, the fun of the game is excellent, this rules.

Replayability
Once you have finished all the cups and leagues, which will take quite long, you can unlock extra teams and play as them. But once you have finished all the cups and leagues you will want to play the game again and again, it is too addictive. You will not be bored, ever.

To buy or rent?
Definitely buy, you will be proud of how much you spent on Pro Evolution Soccer. Even if you have never played any ISS games before and you have been playing FIFA, definitely buy Pro Evolution Soccer, it's damn sure worth it.
