F1 2002

"A True feeling of speed"

This is an extremely nice game, just before I start, if you like F1, this is your game.

Graphics:9/10,
Very nice graphics, The helmets of the drivers have the exact paint and decals as real life, there are slow-mo dramtatic scenes that are very nice...Only problem is that sometimes during the slow-mo scenes(called gamebreakers) your car will spin many more times at much faster speeds than real life. But other than that, and the fact that the Ferrari's don't have the white paint on their backs, this game has great graphics.

Controls:7/10,
These are pretty good, but don't plan on doing simulation mode without oversteering on those light turns several times. The brakes and accelarating is easy but the turns can be tedious, on normal mode it is easy though(thank the lord). But overall the controls are good.

Realism:9/10,
The realism is great in this game, the only flaw in their logic is that at Indianapolis cars go up to 215 MPH but on this game the max on normal mode is 183 with about 4 teams, 177 with 1 team, and 173 for the other 6. And on simulation your settings depend on how fast you go. But i can only get about 205. Plus when you turn on Simulation your car makes choppy turns and loses great amounts of speed. But still, besides those...this game is still great realism wise.

Audio:10/10,
The audio, is perfect, the cars sound just like they do. Your team cheif talks to you and keeps you up to date on whos out, where your partner is, lead changes, and when ppl leave the pits. And if you want music instead of the your team cheif...thats fine...5 good tracks to choose from(5 is my favorite). As i said, great audio.

Challenge:10/10,
The challenge almost never goes away, you simply start out at Easy, soon your at Medium, then hard, then move to simulation medium, and move on to simulation hard. It is just too fun. And to add to the challenge, they have...none other than...Challenge mode. A basic and advanced challenge for each team. Some are easy, and some are somewhat difficult, and some(like Renault Advanced) are really hard. Actually getting the bronze is easy but I mean getting gold is really hard. Plus, there are EA sports cards different for each team, and when you get them all for one team, im not too sure what happens. I got the toyota and all that happened was I could change the beggining screen. But anyway, this games challenge lasts a very long time.

Overall:9/10,
Great challenge and audio, this game has its ups and some downs, but this is one I would seriously recommend for anyone, any age.
