ATV Offroad Fury
Review by AAjlouni
"A good game, but not a great game."
Gameplay: The game is fun especially if you do the freestyle where you just drive around doing tricks. This game can be hard because your gonna have to practice a lot to not crash. The career mode is hard because most of the atv's are slow unless you cheat. Most of the atv's suck because they are slow and most of them don't have good stability. They always flip with the slightest mistake when your landing especially when your racing on snow. Trying to land after doing tricks is also hard.
Sound: The sound is pretty good since you can listen to songs or just the engine. When the guy or girl falls off you can actually hear them saying ahh. The engine sounds good but gets real annoying after a while. Also when you are on the Fort Roberts course you can hear the jets and the helicopters flying.
Story: You just pick a atv and do whatever you want. You can race, and do the freestyle competition where you try to do tricks in a certain amount of time( if you want a time limit) with either two players or you can try to beat your own record.
Replay Value: There is really no replay value unless your the type of gamer that loves to just play around and do tricks in the game.
Graphics: The graphics are just beautiful. The courses look neat and when your driving you can see the dirt coming from the back of the atv. The atv is detailed pretty good and the outfit the guy or girl is wearing looks good also. The scenery is beatiful. There are runways, craters, bushes, dirt, sand, cactus, and snow. The trees, bushes, dirt, sand, craters, cactus, and the snow look good. You can see the jets and helicopters flying. They are also detailed
Controls: The controls are easy to use. X is the gas, and square is the brake. Reverse is as simple as holding the square button. Also the tricks are pretty easy to do. You just got to press a few buttons
Overall: I give this game a 7/10 because the game is hard in career mode unless you cheat and there any replay value. This game is worth a rent but if you like to do tricks and play around just go and buy the game for $20. But definitely you need to rent this game before buying it.
