"Intense Longitivity & Intense RPG"

Wizardry is known for it's greatest longitivity in any RPG i've ever played and it's basic RPing system.they seem to never change in any of them. However,i seen only two of them and this is only based off of two games i've played, but i know that Wizardry is VERY long and VERY basic.

Story:

A Giant Meteor crashed in the land of Duran and fatally wounded many and wrecked the kingdom. This fateful moment of destruction in Duran was called the ''Flash'' and now the kingdom is trying to recover from this fatal experience by hiring people to go down into the labyrinth to get materials for the townspeople.unfortunately,it seems there's also something going on in the Labyrinth that's gotten people concerned such as the evil that lives in the Labyrinth and how the monsters are coming up out of the labyrinth since the blast.Your Quest begins once a injured warrior guides you to Duran.

Controls:

They added a running system in this game and the walking around hasn't changed much.they basically kept everything the same as it was on the SNES version i played.

Gameplay:

It's not as hard as the others UNLESS you decide to go into the next level unprepared. The game can be deadly when you decide to go into the next level of the Labyrinth thinking ''I better go and fight some tuffer monsters and get EXP quick'' because the monsters will definitely clobber you!Not to mention that a death in the party can result in loss of trust in your fellow team members since a leader is suppose to not let members die. Also, there's the dangerous Reaper. If you die with the reaper on you your character is forever gone and dead and can never return.so if you have the reaper on you, venturing furthermore is the most dangerous & risky thing you would do.however, getting GP isn't hard at all, there's just not that much to buy but lots to sell(Since the weapon shop only gets weapons from you & armor too)
Another thing is the trust system.now i only know that this RPG has something called trust which can be one of the most forwarding things in the game if treated right.Trust is how members think of you and how you work together.however, thing is,you must be very cautious of what characters hate as well.if your characters don't trust you,you won't have man ''Allied Actions'' which are VERY powerful moves that require trust.but don't worry,Trust is unlimited, but that doesn't mean that Trust is the most valuable thing in the game,it's just one of them.

Sound & Graphics:

furthermore, the sound is completely awesome & so is the graphics!

The sound is basically realistic.even in events in the RPG and in battle at the same time! The sound of a monster hitting you or you hitting them is unbelievably real!

As for the graphics, that too is very very VERY beautiful!Even more beautiful than Final Fantasy X's i find!
The graphics on the monsters & characters you see is just...wow!The graphics are not parred from my standards, they are the most beautiful graphics since Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance

Overall:

It's a definite classic RPG and a tuff one,but not as tuff as the classic Wizardry games.it's definitely keeping things basic in this RPG too.I would recommend this game to those that just simply adore classic RPing with just a tiny bit of addition to it and beautiful graphics & Sound.
