Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo

"A Solid Game with Cool Missions."

Mobile suit Gundam was the second game I bought for the PS2. I became addicted to it within days. It is all around a very good game. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but it is not difficult to beat.

Graphics:8/10- I think more could have been enhanced in this game. The background in each mission could have been better. The mobile suits were done very well and I love the blow-up scenes. The weapons were also very cool. I liked the mace ball and chain and the large sword of the blue Zeon mobile suit. The Dom's weapons were awesome. The yellow rod kicked major ass. He was my favorite Zeon Mobile Suit. The sniper Mobile Suit was the coolest Federal troop.

Sound:7/10- The background music was kind of plain and did not stand out. It was very easy to understand what was said during missions, though.

Controls:6/10- This was the most disappointing part about the game. It was very difficult at first to get a hang of how to work the Gundam. In addition to this, almost all the special moves take too long to do. And by the time you do this, you are dead and have failed the mission. The movement of the Gundam needed to smoother in the game. However, I did like the challenge of getting good at playing this game.

Gameplay:10/10- I enjoyed playing the game every minute. The different mobile suits were all awesome. The missions were fun and some challenging. The special weapons were unique and sweet. The ending was cool, the guns and sabers were cool and the battles were fun.

Bonus Stuff:10/10- The bonus stuff is very tight. The new mobile suits and the music are really sweet. It was worth the time to get the bonus stuff from this game.

To anyone who wants to get this game, I would rent it first and then decide. Everyone should rent the game. it is a lot of fun and is a great game. If your a Mobile Suit Gundam fan, this is a must have. The strategy guide is really unnecessary though. I beat the game with no problems. It is challenging enough to learn how to control the mobile suit.
