ATV Offroad Fury

"VROOM VROOM Says The Banshee"
ATV Offroad Fury is a game where you race four wheelers. Kind of like motocross. It is fun but gets very repetitive at times. This game is fun for about an hour if you don't play for a long time. This is a pretty mediocre racing game.
Gameplay
In ATV Offroad Fury, there are LOADS of real life four wheelers. Some are better than others and some are much better than others. They are all really realistic when compared to their real life counterparts. The controls in ATV Offroad are fairly easy to learn. The game mode where you actually race is very hard. The funnest part of the game is just wandering in the levels where you aren't racing. There are some races where you race like cross-country. It is funner than the motocross like races in my opinion. For some reason, it is fun hitting trees on the cross country-levels. Don't ask me why, it just is.
When in the air, you can also pull off a number of tricks. The trick system is easy to learn and makes things easy to pull off. An example is, when you get in the air, just press a trick button and a direction and you do a trick. It's as simple as that.
The level designs are good. They are pretty diverse and range from an army base, desert, to even a place that looks like hillbilly camp grounds or something. The actual racing is good and is fun. The gameplay is pretty good altogether.
Audio And Video
Graphics aren't that great, but they are good nevertheless. Like when you peel out and mud flies, there is a streak of brown, and it doesn't have chunks of mud flying. Just a streak. The costumes for your racer are pretty detailed and have real logos on them. The animation when you crash is very funny and fun to watch. Did I mention hitting trees is fun?
The sound is great. Four wheelers sound pretty much like they do in real life. The soundtrack is pretty good I guess but if you don't like it, just turn down the volume and put a cd in your stereo because there is really nothing you need to hear on this game.
Replayability
The game gets boring if you play it continuousely. You will just get burned out on it. If you have a friend to play with, you can play multiplayer which is somewhat fun because you can both crash and hit trees and watch as the drivers get hurt which is great fun. I do that often for some reason. Anyways, it will be fun for maybe 2 months at the most.
To Buy Or To Rent?!
I really can't decide here because the game is a greatest hits now and is only $20 while a rental is around $7, but you might want to rent it first. If you like four wheelers, crashing into trees, or streaks of brown stuff that is supposed to be mud, this game is for you.
