Story - 6/10

This is an action/adventure game. Although it's not really much of a story, how can you blame it? It's SUPERMAN!!! He doesn't need a story!! Basically, there you are having the time of your life enjoying a nice cool fly in the park when suddenly a man in a helicopter steals from the bank!! That's just the introduction. Then you go into a factory to find out what's with all the suspiciousness going on and meet some nice robots (that look like men) to fight. What's going to happen next superman!?

Sound - 9/10

Music had great effects, especially the opening theme. The sounds themselves (like him flying, speed,heat vision etc.) fit perfectly into the game.

Graphics - 8/10

Quite mediocre, but I like the nice cel-shading touch to make it like you're playing the cartoon itself! No kids, none of these superman cartoons you've seen. I'm talking about the good 'ole classic superman!! If you don't like cel-shading, still give this game a try.

Gameplay - 10/10

This is what I think was the best aspect of the game. You're superman. Need I go on? I will anyway. When I did my first little practice run, I was blown away. The flying is so fun and easy to operate and turning, strafing, and super-speed is amazing. I must have spent over 20 minutes flying around, while I was only supposed to for about 2 minutes. THAT'S how fun this game is. Then once you learn X-ray vision and heat-vision, the game becomes even more fun! Plus, on top of all his super powers you also have combos to take out the bad-guys. They also picked out the best controls for all his super moves. The only minor flaw I can point out is that when it tells you to do something (like hold down B in front of a bad-guy to pick him up) it sometimes you just stand there and nothing happens until you get the exact angle.

Replay value - 8/10

The game isn't too long but you can go through this game 2-5 times if you just to have fun!! You really have to try this game out, it won't do you any harm to just run over to the video store and rent a copy.

Rent or buy!? Definitely rent and then if you like it, buy it!!! I didn't write this review for no reason! And remember, 5 is an average game. So anything above 7 is fairly good for my reviews.
