Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction

Robot Wars is an absolute disgrace. The only thing robots are any good for is for taking this disk and breaking it into little pieces.

Gameplay: 0/10
You have to create your own robot and unlock all the other ones. You don't even get the chance to use your flipping weapon has chances are it'll be rendered useless about 1 minute in. An absolutely disgraceful attempt at anything remotely resembling the Robot Wars you see on TV.

Graphics: 3/10
Too cartoony. I have no artistic talent whatsoever and I am able to draw better robot designs than the ones used in this game. Chaos 2 is so small you are looking around the screen for it sometimes and the backgrounds are so fake it is just laughable. I can't honestly believe that they are trying to make us buy this game. If you cornered one of the developement team and said: ''Do you think the Robot Wars game was any good?'' They would probably say ''Hell, no'' laugh at you for even asking and walk off.

Sound: 0/10
This is metal on metal. Where are the crunches? Where are the thuds? This game has disgraceful audio.

Controls: 2/10
The controls are pretty much like they would be on an actual robot controller. i.e. rubbish and awkward. This is the kind of controls you expect from the first ever Mega Drive Game to be released. Not a next-gen console...

Multiplayer: 0/10
You won't have the patience to play with anyone as you'll get too irritated when in the first two seconds they successfully send your weapon flying off... It's just awful...

Replay Value: 0/10
As soon as you get it home and put it on for bit, you'll realise you need to make your own robot and unlock the rest. You'll go on the internet and look for a cheat to unlock all the robots, you'll get it. Once getting it, you'll enter it, have a blast with your favourite, think the game is rubbish and ask your parent to drive you back down to the store to get it replaced.

The only reason this game is getting a 1, is because I can't give it 0. It is an absolute disgrace. This game is not worth the disk it has been burned on. Period.

Don't touch this game... Do you have it? If you do, trade it. I don't know how anyone could possibly want a game with such shoddy gameplay, terrible graphics, god awful replay value and mediocre sound. This game is a disgrace and is one of the worst Playstation 2 games I have ever played.
