Opening statement
I have enjoyed this anime for quite some time. Then I hear there is a game on PS2 for it. So I thought what the heck might as well get it. I played it. Beat it. Beat the little mini-missions. This was all in the past two days. School halted play for the most part so it was hard to get game time in. But the game didn't last 6 hrs. This disappointed me but it was a little fun. Good thing I rented it.

Story 10
I enjoyed the story. It kept with the anime. Even though it didn't go through all the episodes. It went through the better ones and had a nice movies that explained the stuff you miss out on. Which is really cool.

Controls 3
This is what makes this game a little on the average side. They are the worst. The lock on doesn't lock on well and if they move on mm then you miss. Gosh that is so annoying. Not to mention the Gundam moves are really sluggish. Its movement gets worst in battle making it extremely annoying!

Game play 7
This is a little above normal but nothing great. As said before I beat it in under six hrs. That is just sad really. Not only short but easy. Once you learn how to move the mobile suit well then it is easy with any mobile suit. But at least it is fun.

Graphics 10
While not Final Fantasy X graphics they are quite nice. Bandi manage to make the movies run nice as well as keep the stages well looking. If you want superior graphics then this isn't for you. I'm giving it a ten because it works well.

Replay 10
Since this game is so short and fun you will probably go back through it a couple of times. Not to mention that you get ranked on missions. So you may spend the time to get better rankings to show off against your friends!

Final 7
This is a okay game which would make any Gundam fan happy. I personally enjoyed the movies. They were probably the best part actually. If you can handle the bad controls then this game is for you.

Buy or Rent?
Rent! The game is short and will take you only a couple of hours. If you really want to buy it then yes it is a good game if you really don't mind giving up 45 dollars.
