Ratchet & Clank

"Hey, let me see that weapon right there!"

INTRODUCTION
Well, I was watching ''Extended Play'' (gaming show on ZDTV), and they had a ''Preview'' coming up. And it so happened to be, ''Ratchet & Clank''. And they was showing the preview, and my mouth was to the floor! I was like, OH MY GOSH! I must have this game! So, I came to the GameFAQs ''Ratchet & Clank'' Message Board, hoping that there'd be a sign of life there, and there was, and I started asking questions. So, last week, I was able to go to my local Wal-Mart and I bought this game! So, enough with this, let's move onto the review!

SOUND
The sound to this game is great! Everything about it is just, great! And with the characters voices, they're not annoying or anything. It's not like, ''Eh, I think I'm going to turn the game down now. . . .'' And the music is real great! Just everything about this is great, so, no need to go any further. The sound gets a perfect score! 10/10

GRAPHICS
The graphics to this game is great as well! Each city as it's own unique look to it, and it's beautiful in the process! The graphics are just wonderful, these are probably the best graphics I've ever seen with a platforming game. So, with this said, I'm going to give the graphics a perfect score! 10/10

CONTROLS
Well, here again, the controls are great! Everything just feels right about it. So, yet again, there's no need to go any further. So, I'm going to give the controls a perfect score! 10/10

STORY
This is the story: ''In the center of the galaxy, the evil chairman Drek, leader of the Blarg, is wanting to take the best parts of planets and build him a new planet. And it's up to Ratchet & Clank to find Captain Qwark, the hero of the universe.'' Eh, I think the story is the worst thing in the game. In the introduction of the game, it all feels rushed to quick. And I just find the story, well, stupid. The only thing that saves the story from getting a horrible rating is the humor in the game. Cause the game can be quite funny sometimes, but yet, stupid when it comes to the humor. So, I'm going to give the story a 5 out of 10. 5/10

GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is GREAT!!!!! There's a lot to do in this game! You have game the itself to do, and also, you can go back to the planets to find gold bolts. There's like 19 planets. And a lot of them are major FUN! And also, one of the best parts of the game, the WEAPONS! The weapons are very fun to use. But, everything's not always so perfect. Sometimes, the planets can be EXTREMELY frustrating. Like, let's say you're doing a level, and you're about done with it, and you die. You get restarted from quite a ways back. But, the only thing that saves this is, you don't have lives. You have an infinite amount. And that rules all, so, that definitely helps out the score. So, in the end, and with all of that said, I'm going to give the gameplay an 8 out of 10. 8/10

REPLAY VALUE
The replay value is VERY high! You have to find the gold bolts to get the gold weapons, you have to find all of the weapons, the weapons are fun to use, so, you could go back into some of the fun planets and use the fun weapons. Or, just whatever, so the replay value here is just, GREAT. So, I bet you know what I'm going to give the replay value. YEP, a perfect score! 10/10

FUN FACTOR
YES!! The fun factor is just, WOO, through the roofs. This game is EXTREMELY fun. Besides it's sometimes very frustrating points. But, still, the game is very fun! So, I'm going to give the fun factor a 9 out of 10! 9/10

RENT or BUY?
Well, this is probably the best platforming game I've ever played. Well, besides Super Mario 64. But, this game can be VERY fun! The weapons are what makes the game, and the game is pretty funny at that. But, just because the story is basically stupid, doesn't mean that the game is stupid! This game can be VERY fun, and can be VERY addicting. I just cannot stress how fun this game can be. So, what do you think I'm going to tell you?! OF COURSE, go buy this game right now! It's off the charts!!! Go buy it!!!!
