"10..9..8..I give this game a low 7"

First off i want to start by saying this game was supposed to be one of the best games out for the year. Before it came out it got a lot of hype and everyone was excited including me. I wanted it but it was only for X-Box, so later I hear the news its coming out for PS2. Well my friend got it and he beat it in 1 night. WHAT KIND OF GOOD ADVENTURE GAME DO YOU BEAT IN ONE DAY. Now I'll break down the score for you.

Graphics 7/10
Now you have to understand that before this game thier was Metal Gear Solid for PS2, so the creators of DTR new what they were up against (well thats what I thought) I see these mediocer graphics. I was not impressed. The clothes on the characters stick to them like glue. The graphics were not horrible though. I will admit that the cut scenes are nice. But the people look bad. They could've been done a lot better. We'll just leave that alone for now.

Story 9/10
You play as a police officer who is trying to get the person who killed his father. Typical. You encounter all types of different characters. Theres not much to be said on the story so we'll leave as it's good and that's all there is to it.

Gameplay 6/10
In this section I am combining the actual gameplay with the length of the game. The moves are varied and beautifly created. You can perform various grabs which make the game fun for only so long. The part that makes this game horrible is the length. It is pretty much arcade style. The games gets extremely repetitive if you are even half way decent at the game. I feel sorry for any hardcore gamer who can't beat this game within 2 days max.

Controls 8/10
If you really want to get into all the controls and perfect them be my guess. Heck I did it. I don't think the creators had to spend so much time explaining the controls in the begging of the game since their not all that complicated.

Overall 7/10
This game is good for a few days to just toy around with but after a week it you'll want to take it back to the place you got it from. If you read what I have to say then you will see no other choice but to rent it. It's fun for a little while but it can't cut it so just wait for Devil May Cry2 or just get Rygar.
