I rented this about 2 months ago after watching the movie, its loosely based on the movie. Anyways this game takes place 6 months from where the movie ended. In my opion they should of just kept the original story line.

Game play 5/10
This is your simple beat-em-up with vampires. As Blade completes the levels he gains points that allow to purches Sub-machine guns, a shotgun, Uv-nades and much more. There are pretty much 2 types of play: All Out mode to where you just go around and kill all the vampires until you find a way out, and where you have to protect a person. The old snes beat-em-ups like final fight and spider man are a whole lot better cause of the multiplayer option.

Control 3/10
I think it’s just horrible! Having to use the analog skit to kick and punch can be a hassle especially if you have small hands. To cycle through the weapons is pretty hard to navigate. The only good part is the menu control, it’s pretty easy to save and load.

Music 9/10
Pretty much the best part of the game. The Rage mode music is really dope! The punches and kicks are will sounded. The only bad this is are the stupid one-liners like ''Keep your friends close keep your enemies closer.''

Graphics 7/10
Pretty sub-par for a rushed game, when you kill a vampire the burns up into air and it gives it a pretty cool effect. The creators of the game felt like even putting the trailer in the beging of the game for no apparent reason. It runs at a very well done 60 fps and even when in a small space with about 20 vampires it really does not slow down or chop up. The level design is pretty enclosed no real creativity about where activison was going. The enemies are well done ranging from: Biker Vampires, Baby Vampires, Reapers, and human solders.

Really nice case but that’s really about the jest of it.

Replayibilty 3/10
After you beat it you probality wont want to play it again. Even though there is a harder difficulty level but it gets really boring.

A Blade 2 movie trailer, and a few game trailers.

Buy or rent???
You really want to rent this! Spend or well earned cash on a better game! Only buy this game if you are a super deduper hardcore beat-em-up arcade gamer. Sorry for the barney reference.
