Cabela's Big Game Hunter

"Best hunting game to date."

Well , I have to say is this is a title not to miss. Let's review.

Graphics : 9
Theese graphics are smooth and great , all the animals look great and move great. VERY Realistic looking graphics , sometimes there is an occasional area that isn't so good. But I haven't seen graphics of this claibur on a hunting game EVER. All of you E-Hunters will be very happy with this.

Gameplay : 10
WOW ! This is the most realistic hunting experence I have ever taken place in. Unlike many games where you just go through a slide show , find an animal , shoot it anywear and it's a goner ... you actitually have to savage and stalk the animal in a life situation. One bullet doesn't kill unless it's a very accurate and well placed shot. For instance , you can't shoot the animal in the rear to be funny and expect to bag a trophy. The big thing is this game takes patience , A LOT. Since this is the only game this advanced ( hunting ) it may take an hour + to EVEN SEE AN ANIMAL. But , if your a hunter this should make you very happy . If your a beginner then I suggest you run through quick hunt until you basically get the game , and know what the deal is ( Quick Hunt is basically a beginners hunting simulation , tells you where animals are etc ... ) It's almost as if you can't go hunting over the weekend / summer , so just go play Cabela's on PS2 ! So start your Career and get going !

Sound : 8.5
The sound is very good , animals make correct noise ETC. Sometimes it is too soft and it sorta stinks but since your hunting ... turn it on very loud and sit back and relax. Once you hear something , go stalk the animal and kill it.

Animals : 10
Animals are great ... the one thing about this is that you can hunt for what you want ! Let's say you want a delightful polar bear ! Simply go to alaska and stalk a Polar Bear. There are about 30 animals in Cabela's ps2 hit and all of them are VERY realistic. Hell , there are rattlesnakes ! If you love those hard to find exotic game , then this game is a gimme !

Rent / Buy / Forget
Again , with every game there is room for improvement but this game doesn't need much. This game has everything a hunting fan / video game player would love. If you've never played a hunting game and your intrested , then buy this. Any outdoorsman gamer should have this in their collection. NOW , if you have no patience ( ie : you see a huge racked mouse , and you can't kill it because you don't have a tag and you've been searching for an hour for a bear ( fX ) ) and you want to break the screen , then I suggest you rent this title first. This isn't real life so I won't give my real life hunting take. But I will say that this is my favorite title for PS2. Oh , did I mention that's it's only 29 bucks ? Go get this game NOW !
