Super Bust-A-Move

For Christmas, my sister and I recieved bargain-bin games; I got Wild Wild Racing and she got Super Bust-A-Move, which I am currently reviewing. And let me tell you, no matter how frustrating the game gets, it is still tough to quit playing.

GRAPHICS: 9/10<< I know what you're thinking if you ever actually played or witnessed the game: ''9/10? What are you on, man? The graphics are mecca-simplistic!'' that may be so, but these are the best, coolest, most funktified mecca simplistic graphics ever! The animations are ultra cool, as are the characters. My sister liked Miss T, but I preffered Wolo, Tom and Yam, and Mr. @(the ''at'' symbol).

GAMEPLAY: 10/10<< I personally am not particularly big on puzzle games, having played only Dr. Mario and Tetris. But mn oh man, has this picqued my curiosity! It is very straightforward and very very very challenging. Tetris this is not. It is something else altogether. One big comlaint though; this game just SCREAMS Japanese! Holy crap! The intro made absolutely NO sense, but it was cool, just like the older Tekken games.

CONTROLS: 8/10<< These are the easiest to pick up controls ever besides Tetris. All you use are R1, L1, X, and the digital pad. Simple-wimple-dimple to understand. Also, don't bother with R1/L1; they serve no true purpose.

SOUND: 7/10<< The soundtrack consists mostly of bubblegum rock and pop and stuff, so I took no particular liking to it. The sound effects are just the basic *POP* and window-breaking sound effects, so nothing special here. Another problem with the whole aforementioned Japanese effect is the battle cries of the characters. Miss T after her defeat says something that sounds like '' Yeah buddy!'' or ''Yaputi!'' or something. Subtitles would be a true blessing.

OVERALL: 8/10<< The game is fundamentally solid. There is nothing realluy wrong with it. As for renting or buying it, it just depends on what kind of a gamer you are. If you are one of those people that drool over the latest Tetris or whatever other puzzle games come out, buy this game. You won't regret it. However, if you are just bored with your current games and are looking for something to tide you over for a week or whatever, give it a rent. It's a fun game. Don'tr let the word ''puzzle'' scare you away. You'll regret it. Check it out.
