James Bond 007: NightFire

"A review of nightfire by yours truely."

GamePlay: 7/10

They have really improved the gameplay since the last game. There aren't very many missions to do but they are still fun and kind of challenging. Although none of the games will probably ever be able to compare to goldeneye or perfect dark they can still get better than what they were as games such as agent under fire. This game is a great game the gameplay is awesome they did a great good on it.

Graphics 10/10

The graphics have to be atleast a 9 or maybe a 10. The graphics are awesome. Alot of the older games didn't have very good graphics but there gameplay was better. The graphics in this game as great. Great improvement on the graphic design of this game. Bond looks exactually like he does in the movies. The graphics of the people in parties and stuff are alot better than they use to be nothing can really beat these graphics until they come out with ps3 lol then it will be great. The graphics of the guns are good too. They could make it better but they did a good job on those. Also the grappling seems to be not very realistic whenever you look at it on multiplayer. The buildings and stuff are pretty good graphic wise. Good job on those!!!

Missions 6/10

The content of what the missions are based on is great!!! It seems that something is missing that they could have put in to make the game longer than it actually is. The game is a good game to spend some time playing but not enough. I had the game beat in about a couple days. If they would have threw in a couple more missions or something to do it would have made the missions better. Someone could have made a couple more missions to go along with this one. This would have improved it a alot.

Multi-Player 8/10

The multiplayer mode is good. It could have been better. I can't complain that much because it is good the only thing that seems to be missing is more levels. I think that the levels in multiplayer aren't that good the only one that I ever play on is the snowblind. None of the other ones appeal to me when I play this game against someone else. Also it seems like they need to invent so new kind of weapons for multi-player that would also make the gaming alot better when you are facing a friend or someone you know.

Sound 10/10

The sound quality is great!! Perfect nothing wrong with the sound what so ever. The gun shots seem real and the people yelling from far away and you can hear them is great. Good job there on this part of the game.

Controls 10/10

The controls on the ps2 are great. I think they go perfectly with the game and the multiplayer mode. I am glad that this game came out on the playstation system. I find the controls easy to use and it is great that you can customize them if you are use to something else. Great.

Is it worth Getting this game?

I myself would say yes because I bought this game without even seeing any previews for it. I just heard that it was out walked in looked at the back and bought it. Brought the game home put it into my ps2 and I was amazed on how good it was. I thought that I was going to waste money but I was wrong. So my advice to you on that is yes it is worth it but rent it first if your unsure because you don't wanna be out of $50 now do you?

Should I Rent or buy this game?

Rent?
My advice would be that if you have never played any other bond games before you should rent it. Then if you don't like it you can not buy it. You get to keep your money then.

Buy

If you have played bond games before and are a bond fan then I advise you buy the game. This game is awesome even though it can't touch goldeneye or perfect dark it is still a great game. It is worth the money to pay for.

Other stuff about the game
The game offers alot of great stuff to do. I mean it doesn't have that much because of course it is no perfect dark but it is still a great game. The bond gaming has improved somewhat since the last couple games that they have put out. I say that if they can come out with a bond game that is similar to perfect dark but more options, weapons, and better graphics then it would be the best bond game ever made. The best so far is perfect dark. I have not played it that much but I can tell just from playing it a couple times.
