"A Perfect remake of the best game for PC on a console"

Since the early days of the PC, we've had Sim city, Sim Ant, Sim City 2000, and the series best game The Sims. Along with the expansion packs sold separate, it has been named the best PC game of all time. With The Sims Online just released, and a Xbox and Gamecube version comming in the summer, the question is ''Should I get the PS2 Version, or get Sims online or the GCN or Xbox Version?''

Graphics-6/10: A bit better than its PC counterpart, but still has the same overhead graphics of the origianal. The only technical problem with the game is some of the lag i has, especially when you get home from work.

Sound and Music-5/10: Like real life, you choose what makes noise and dosnt. The only music is from the sterio and the sound comes from yourself and the TV. Not much, but good for a Sims game.

Gameplay-10/10: The thing that makes The Sims, well..the Sims is its a life simulator. This is pretty much life in the game world...the very thing you try to escape in real life. The PS2 version is loaded with extras, from ''Get a Life'' mode, from the 2-Player mode, to new items, a Monkey Butler, and several additions tp the gameplay make this the easiest to play sim game.

Story-8/10: Average at best. In ''Get a Life'' mode, you are a middle age man still liveing with mommy. Your first goal is to show you can move out and get your own place, then get a career, a Girlfriend, Marriage, Kids...Life at its best at the comfort of your own home. Who knew waching someone elses live would be this fun!!!

Controll-10/10: GREATLY improved from the PC version. You now have a more easier click method from the Keyboard and Mouse. This is another reason to buy the remake.

Buy or Rent? Definatly a buy. Not only is the game greatly enjoyable, but just the fact of playing life without going through real life is one of the best feelings you will have playing this game. If your doubtful about buying it, give it a rent first and see how you like it.

Final: 10/10 There are many options with this remake. Not only is it easy for the new people to The Sims, but Get a Life mode will challange vets of the game. Definatly one of the best time wasteres around. The question is, should I get the PS2 version or the GCn or Xbox version. Well, there will be more items and options, but besides that, they are the same. I would get this game now and enjoy it. This maybe the only console game to compete with Animal Crossing.
