Review by Captain Jack

"Bandai's Gundam does great with this."

Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon, was brought to me originally by a friend. This is one of the few games that I don't mind watching...and that naturally means its a great game.

Views:10/10 The camera view is always the same, your behind the Mobile Suit/Gundam suit all the time. There really isn't much to say about the camera view because it's great and you can always see where your going.

Sound:9/10 There is only one dysfunction in the sound area. The music for the some space battles is awful. It sounds like a cat caught in a cement mixer. Otherwise then that one horrible song, the others are actually pretty good. Especially the Jaburo song that's one of the best.

Game Play: 11/10 That's right, 11 out of 10. Why? Many reasons factor in for this great rating. First off, you can choose either side, and flow freely from mobile suit to gundam to mobile armor. The battles can be close range weapons such as: Heated Hawk, Beam Saber, Grapple, (Fists and legs)Claws, and a Double Beam Sword. There are many different guns in the game, ranging from melee guns such as: Machine Guns, Head Vulcans, Zaku Machine Gun, 5X machine gun, Beam Rifle, and Shoulder Vulcans. For support fire and long range there is: Gun Cannon, Cannon, Missile Launcher, 180 mm Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Mini-Cannon, Zaku Bazooka, Magella Top Cannon, and the Giant Bazooka. The wide variety of suits, weapons, and gundams make it entertaining. Not only that, from time to time (in campaign) You'll get updated and better versions of previous Suits and Gundams. The missions vary from: Escort, destroy battle ships, to clear enemies, invasions, defending allies and bases. All while doing this, you follow the story line, so that'll keep you true Gundam lovers happy. It also has two player arcade mode, where you can fight with or against each other. Also, after beating the original campaigns there is a HARD campaign after words to look forward to. All Mobile suits are upgraded to their top performance, however no mobile armor. Also there are three types of battle, battles on Earth where you'll have plenty of gravity to keep your suit on the ground, also in some Earth battles, there is plenty of underwater missions. The other type is space battles, some you fly around in space guarding battleships, clearing out areas, and protecting you other allies. The other type in space is in colonies and in sectors where you will have some gravity to keep you down. Making a total of 6 basic types you'll be fighting, in/on/over.

Replay Value:10/10 Over 200 missions, that's reason enough and different suits, gundams, and armor for different missions. Different maps to also keep you entertained.

Control:10/10 What can I say? This is an EXTREMELY easy game to control, It doesn't take you long to get situated, after a minute or so in your first mission, you probably will know all the controls there is to know! Enough said about that.

Other features:10/10 None of these are playable, however they do keep the hardcore fan checking. Such as: Which way the battle is going, towards Earth or Zeon. If you just like the arcade mode, you can see where you are ranked as a pilot. There are different settings such as: Damage level, Amount of time, AI intelligence, and different sound settings.

So all and all that is why this game gets a 10/10. With many different areas to play, suits to use, and Zeon/Federation things to kill. You'll have hours of fun with this awesome game.
