NHL 2003

"My favorite hockey game"

This is my review for the play station game NHL 2003 here it is hopefully you enjoy it:

First i will post all the positive stuff about the game I like a new feature this game has over NHL 2002 is that when you are on a clear cut break away, it will switch to a cool camera angel and you will hear a sorta heavy breathing noise which is probably the goalie since he is going 1 on 1 with the player.But whats evn better is that if you score a really awesome goal or make an unbelievable save it will switch to a slow motion camera angle showing the player score his goal or the goalie made his save while the players on the bench are looking is awe.That is my favorite part of the game.
Another great thing is you get to play through 10 NHL seasons so if you want to create a layer and build an NHL career you can.Also in this game the coaches some times will argue the penalty it will also show the ref putting the net back on if it gets knocked off.The game at first is very difficult i was 0-12-1-0 in my first 13 games of my first season but i win more than i lose now but the game is actually challenging.
The game has great graphics it looks real and has the feel of a great hockey game you also game play in a tournament mode and go for medals and also create custom teams.
Now for the negatives about the game one thing I noticed is that your players seem to skate over the puck even when it is right in from of them.Some times I will skate over the puck 3 or 4 times until he finally gets it on his stick.Another thing i noticed is that when you hit the top cross bar in the net it will usually just fly onto the top of the net it does this almost all the time,another thing i have seen alot of is that the players will skate right through each other it doesn't happen all the time but it has happened to me alot.And there is one last thing i have to complain about is when i hit a player with a big hit a lot of the time he will go flying half way across the rink which came sometimes be a bad thing but also some times it can be good.
Other than those few minor things this is a great hockey game and like I always say no game is perfect every game has some flaws but this game has very few and all the good things about this game easily out weight the bad things.

So if you are reading this review i will tell you one last time this is a great hockey game so go out there and get NHL 2003 you wont regret it.
