Introduction
The Sims are finally here for the PS2...although they are a little late (since the regular was released about 2 years ago on the PC)...but thats ok! They really put some work into this game...! But...lets just get into the review!

Gameplay: 10/10
This is a smooth running game. It is not too hard if you have played the sims before. It is a very fun, and very addicting game and will keep you coming back for more! This is the type of game you can put down and come back to later! When you start, you are able to choose the mission-like ''Get a Life'' mode. In this mode, you are to live in different houses and complete goals needed to unlock items for the other mode which is ''Play The Sims'' mode. In Play the Sims mode, you are forced to build your own house in your own neighborhood and keep your sim happy. this is the mode that is featured in the PC version. Overall, this is a big leap for the sims!

Graphics: 10/10
This is where they did it! They totally upgraded in the graphics section! They are smooth, 3-D polygons in a smooth, 3-D world! They really did a good job here!

Sound/Music: 8/10
The music is the same from the computer version, and can get a bit tedious! overtime, you get sick of listening to your sim whistle, but its over in no time! if you really dont like the music (its not THAT bad...) then mute it, and pop in a CD to listen to... and VOILA! PROBLEM SOLVED!

Controls: 10/10
The controls are a bit difficult at first, but over time, you get used to it! Basically, you use the control pad to look at your characteristics, friends, mood, and jobs, etc. the left control stick is used to move the cursor. the right control stick adjusts the camera, and the X,O,[] and /_ have their own uses. The controls were done rather nicely.

Replay Value: 10/10
The replay is infinite! if you get bored with your sim, create a new one! they are all different! I created a neighborhood full of celebrities! its neat to see which ones get along! this game lasts FOREVER!

Final Words
Rent/Buy: Buy if you enjoyed this review...i just skimmed the game...there are a whole busload of unlockables just waiting for you to unlock them! Rent if you dont have $50 burning a hole in your pocket!

Overall, I'd say The Sims is a great game that is worth your money, and kills time! it is just so fun...! you would never have thought being God was such a hard job!!!
