Burnout 2 Point of Impact. the sequal to the dissapionting Burnout. An arcade racer with every turn and crash, being fast and furious.

*Gameplay*>>> The greatest arcade racer ever. Simply beautiful, a very, very fun racing experience, different to any other racing game. There are many reasons that make this game so great. In my opinion, the BOOST feature(like using NOS), the great cars, including their loud Blow off valves, the great music, great tracks, lots of traffic, the timer is the least you are worried about, you usually just ignore it. Because you try to beat your opponent, the time limit is a bit too short for my liking. The simple reason for this game being so great is just so fast, flying through a course, at 160 mph through a load of traffic, trying to save up your boost, ready to hit it, while still trying to control your machine. It is truly the fastest experience in the world.

The control is great, but not realistic(I.e. GT3 realism), the corners are taken by drifting around them. Not braking and slowing down. This makes the game incredibly fun. Especially when drifting in the middle of 2 busses.

*Story*>>> N/A

*Graphics/Sound*>>Dont get me started. One of the best graphical games on ps2. The detail is great, the sparks, fire, frame rate. All unbelievable.

The sound is one of the reasons why this game is so fun. With loud blow off valves, high revving engines, the piercing sound off a head on crash, the sliding of tires around a city block. I suggest you play this game very loud for a just heaven like gaming experience.

*Replayability*>>>Not that great for single player, but trying to beat your old records is always fun. The multiplayer is beautiful, great fun racing head to head, or in pursuit mode. The crash feature is challenging and the most 'funny' if you could call it that. The idea to create the largest insurance cost will bring a few words to mind.
But, I have had this game since launch, and is just starting to get a bit old now, since i could draw a detailed map about the whole game.

*Final Recommendation*>>> This game. As I have mentioned, is a must buy for any ps2 owner, if you have enjoyed the fast pace of game like Devil May Cry and Frequency (I know I did), then you will love this game, that’s if you enjoy racing.

This game will be coming to Game cube, so buy it all GC owners.
