"One of my Best /Favourite game"

Intro: DMC2 is different from DMC, I know a lot of online reviwes and magazines giving bad review for DMC2. I guess it is because they expect another DMC, or they do not have enough time to enjoy the game, or they do not like what DMC2 is trying to give. I personally love this game very much, but I do not like DMC very much (but I still finish it a few times), I have to spend lots of time to replay the same mission again and again, to me, it is very hard and the camera view is very bad. DMC2 has given me what I hope when I first saw see DMC. My first impression of DMC are shooting like Chow-Yun-Fat (John Woo film), sword slashing like Berserk (a DreamCast game based on a Japanese Comic), upgrading stuff like Alucard (Castlevania). DMC2 gives me all these above and it also gives me the option to play the game quickly or slowly. I do not have much time to play game, I can choose to spend 1 hour or less to play DMC2 when I am busy and spend more time to discover hidden stuff when I am free, e.g. Secret room and items.

GamePlay: Basically, DMC2 is about Slashing with long sword, shooting in all direction, dodging attacks, fighting martial arts, walking on wall to evade attack and counter attack. The normal mode of DMC2 is easy, it lets you get used to the control, movement and weapon. The real game is after the normal mode, enemies will have different move, not just have stronger attack, but move and fight differently, to me, normal mode is just like a practice mode. Some review said walking up and on a wall is not useful, but believe me, you are going to need it. I want to ask all the people who said DMC2 is boring and is not creative a question, what is your stylist rank? I bet they do not even get a 'C', DMC2 thinks they are bored and not creative too. In fact, normal mode is not the real fun of the game, trust me, if you really want to experience DMC2, please complete at least the hard mode, else, you haven't played the real DMC2. Bloody Palace, it is not just merely killing, it allows you to earn more orbs (to upgrade your weapons and buy more items), you can go next level, or skip 10 or 100. In Bloody Palace, I seldom use Devil form to kill enemies, I reserve it to recover my health after I have killed all the enemies in that level, slashing will increase the devil gauge faster, so if you are low in HP, just go next level or next 10 to accumulate your devil gauge again and regain your Health. Then, move to 100 when you are at best status, it is totally up to you on how to play Bloody Palace, I found it very fun and I love it very much. I have only reached level 1532, I have no clue on how many level are there, and I heard that there is Bloody Palace 2. But there is still some bad camera view and I can't even see where I am where there is more than 10 enemies in front of me, some in the air and some on the ground. Ok, I dun want to spoil the game by telling you too many fun stuff, just try it if you like action game, and dun forget at least finish Hard mode and be creative. for instance, I always use forward stab to push all the enemies into a corner, then slash them all together (it doesn't apply to all enemies). Overall I will give 9.5, 0.5 is taken out because of some bad camera view. (9.5/10)

Story: the story is boring, cut scene is short and not informative, but DMC2 is about action, story is not a big issue, I do not play story but action. If you want a good story game, DMC2 is not right for you. Overall, I will give 2, just because the story is not the worst I ever see. I think the story is just to keep the action going, nothing much. (2/10)

Graphics/Sound: Graphics is good enough for you to play the game, provided that you love action game. The music of DMC2 is great. I am giving 9, because I haven't get bored of the graphics and music after 10 hours of playing time. (9/10)

Replayability: Bloody Palace, different difficulties, hidden items, upgrading weapons, two characters with two styles of fighting. All these will make you to replay the entire game at least 4 times. Don't believe me? how about you can fight in slow motion if you can find out how, and Trish? Dun forget you can use Bloody Palace to gain more red orbs and use it in other mode and collect yellow and purple orbs by reentering the mission that you know where to find one and able to complete that mission. I will give 9, because after 10 hours of playing time, I feel like I am just started and still lots of stuff ahead of me. (9/10)

Conclusion: This is my own opinion on DMC2, I really love this game, better than DMC, it does not give me heart pumping feeling but it is fun to play, you can give it a try if you like action game, to me, DMC2 is a must-have game and go buy it if you ask me.
