"A Good Improvement"

HH2k4 is a good improvement on a mlb baseball game in which has the best gameplay and simulation features. This year's improvements include a franchise mode with a financial system, a plethora of sliders to completely customize your gaming expierence, a,AA,AAA farm clubs, improveD graphics, and new annimations.

Controls: 8/10 THe ps2 controller really compliments this sports title. The diamond formation on the controller represents the ''diamond'' on the field. Batting is simple yet realistic. X swings and your joystic directs the swing. Pitching is like most other baseball games the best pitch for each pitcher is represented by X next is square and so on. The joystick is used to direct the pitch and as your player becomes more fatiqued the sensitivity of the stick becomes more apparent. O throws a ball and square is a pitch out

Graphics: 8/10A excellent improvement to a game whose graphics were compared to that of ''ps1'' graphics. The new annimations add a sense of a real life ball game and really help out the gaming experience.

Gameplay: 10/10 The best in the buisness!!! Nothing compares. From the sliding catches to a full count late in the game....it is hard to improve on perfection but #do managed to. If you simply want a game for gameplay and not graphic this is a definite NO brainer. With the added franchise mode this game gets even better. There is unlimited years to play so for you simmers out there go for it. Included in the franchise is A complete farm team system (a,aa,aaa),career stat tracking, a hall of fame, a financial system, complet control over lineups and staffs, and much more. The addition of this feature made this game for me a must buy.

Simulation Factor: 9/10 I am an avid fan of text based sim games (ootp baseball, bb mogul) so i do enjoy a good simulation and this game delivers. You can customize all aspects of the game from foul ball frequency to batting ability in the tuning menu. I simmed many a seasons and have yet to see an odd statistical season. No 90 hr 175 rbi seasons by an above average player like you see in as baseball. It is an even balance and it is translated in the game no such teams as the devil rays going to the playoffs in 2 years. YOu can even set your team markets suuch as Small, Average,etc. Very well done

Buy or Rent? i f you are an avid and not casual baseball fan this is the game for you. If you are one of those so called ''casual'' fans maybee this is a weekend rental. But no matter which you pick you should find this game enjoyable.
