"A good game but slightly repitive"

Gameplay

This game is easy to pick up and quite easy to grasp for people who have played Jade Cocoon 1 and liked it or people who have never played it before. The beast circle is a good idea which is easy to use but can be annoying because of the attack elements have to be perfect. The monster mergeing is passed on from Jade Coccon 1 but has been slightly changed which involves Kalma and Money. The Arena is also handy to buil up your Reputation and learn your attacks as there is many diffrent matches u can choose from in which u can only use a certain amount of monsters for each Arena Fight.

Story

Jade Coccon 2 has a slightly intresting storyline which can be interesting, funny but confusing at the same time. It is also the storyline which keeps you interested in the game. There are four forests at the begging of the game which each have four areas. Each have there own elements Wind, Earth, Fire and Water each of which has a slightly diffrent storylines evolving diffrent people who have diffrent goals but most become you rivals to find the ''Elemental Orbs'' which your main Charecter Kahu needs to lift a curse which was put on him by a cursed fairy cocoon which is how he ment his ''companian'' through the game. Its the kind of storyline which sticks in your head.

Graphics

The graphics on this game are brilliant , lets put it that way. Just going through the forest the detail of the plants is amasing and the cut sences have a diffrebt style to quite a few games but still look good. There are somes scenes were Nico kind of narrates the plot slightly giving hints away to what could happen next. These scenes have a distinct diffrence to them like a mix of Cel-shadeing and normal graphics.

Sound

There is not much to say about the sound. During battles there is quite a rock type tune but when going there is a calmer more erie sound to it. Nothing special

Controls

The controls in this game are simple and easy to learn all of which are easy to ''reach''

Overall

This game is good but is slightly easy to complete but is slightly repitive because u must go through around 75 forests (estemated) but the monster mergeing and the arena is a good idea. This game will be worth the money u pay for it.
