Dead to Rights

"This game copies off of Max Payne so much,i'm surprised they didn't just call the game "Jack Slate""
Introduction - This game is such a clone of Max Payne it's not even funny.I thought it would be one just by seeing the commercial, but then i played it and realized that this game copies off of Max Payne so often, sometimes i wonder why they didn't just simply call the game ''Jack Slate''.
Story - ''Jack Slate'' is on revenge to the people that killed his father. They obviously got this from Max Payne, because in Max Payne,Max is seeking revenge for who ever it was that killed his wife. This is already where the Max Payne Copying starts.
Graphics - It has good graphics, that's one good thing about this game, but sometimes it can be a little cheesy and cartoonish. The movie scene graphics are really good though. But when your in control the graphics are 'Okay'.
Sound - The sound is good too,the bullets sound real. It's just like the sound from just about any other Playstation2 game.Jack Slate tells you the story as you move on through the game, and people talk in it,of course.
Gameplay - This is where they got a lot of stuff from Max Payne. You can press a button and move in a direction to do a slow motion dive when you fire at people, this is a big thing that they got off of Max Payne. The character also uses a lot of metaphors and tells you the story on cutscenes, just like in Max Payne. The levels are all like ones from Max Payne,as well. And some of the missions are a little dumb. The only thing this game has that makes it a little different is that you can use your dog to attack people when you are out of ammo. There's a lot of other side stuff that there is no point for, either, like Lifting Weights, colleting cigarettes, trying not to drown, disarming a bomb, and other stuff.During the story and in the cutscenes, some other unrealistic stuff happens too.
Replayability - Once you beat this, you probably will put it away for a while,it gets old fast. This game is not one of those that you will play over and over.In fact, you might not ever play it again once you have beaten it.
BuyRentNothing - You shouldn't buy it,it's not that great of a game, and if you have Max Payne, then don't even bother playing this game at all unless you wanted to see another game that copies everything from it.You might want to rent this game and check it out though,it's actually a little fun,but i won't ever rent it again.
