Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Alpha

First of all, if you're new to the Super Robot Taisen or Super Robot Wars series, this is the game for you! not only is the graphics top notch here, but the gameplay is tweaked to the best!

Graphics:
Graphically, this game is amazing! this is the first game in the SRW series to have a fully animated battle system, everything from the simple finger missiles of Voltes V to the all powerful Strap Sunshine of Shin Getta is beautifully animated, its so fluid that it almost seems you watching an anime! this definitely gets a 10/10!

Sounds:
In terms of music and sound effects, this game is also top notch, all the original soundtracks from the anime of individual characters are re mastered to soothe the atmosphere of the game, although I preferred if they used the original opening themes for some characters. but still this area gets a 9/10!

Controls:
Well... controls in this game are all very simple really, one button for accept, one for cancel, and another for changing platoon leaders. and thats about it! other buttons isn't really important, trust me, I played through an entire game by using only this three buttons and the left analog stick. I guess I'll give this a 10/10

Gameplay:
If you played any SRW games before, you know what to expect, if not then get ready to play one of the most awesome strategy games ever! in this game you get to plan the way each platoon of robots will attack a certain enemy, you upgrade their weapons and customize their equipment to better match your opponents ever growing number and attacks! predicting how and which character the enemy will attack is one of the coolest parts of this game. though sometime there are scenarios where your given a seemingly impossible task if you don't plan your actions, but for me that's another fun part! this definitely gets a 10/10

Replayability:
With 4 characters to play, each having their own unique robots and story, and each having no less than 55 stages, what more could you ask for? This one gets a 10/10!

Rent or Buy? definitely buy! not only is this game worth it, I don't really think there is a shop that you would find this for rent, of course I could be wrong! anyway, Thanks for reading my review!
