Forever Kingdom
Review by DarkReign128
"A poor sequel to a not-so-poor game"
I'm sorry to have to say this but this game was very poorly made out of the first game they made. The story feels really fake, the characters feel really fake, the environments aren't all that detailed either. The first game felt a lot better even though you were playing one character at a time.
Story: You become cursed by your villains and have to undo the curse. They then mask this by supposed mysteries. They also used the story to cheapen the gameplay even more by giving the characters a spell in which they all have the same life bar. This is a total killer to the gameplay as well.
Dialogue: Horrid. The characters talk in overprojected voices in which you feel like the game is even worse. You also can see your characters repeating their hand and eye movements over and over.
Gameplay: You fight with your AI teammates who are dumb enough to spin in circles if you do. Past Playstation titles even removed such an AI issue. This one hasn't. They also give you a life bar in which goes for every character which was made up by a cheesy spell so that the developers didn't have to worry about having one character die. So, they just discontinued having such an easily-solved dilemma and added that function. When you are not in battle you are running around solving overly obvious puzzles in which your character friends tell you how to solve(even though the game's puzzles are so obvious) in their overprojected cheesy acting voices with such sayings as ''I wonder what that is over there!? Maybe it will solve the puzzle!'' or ''Is that a key!?'' When the game zooms in on the key which is fifty feet away and looks barely visible without zooming in on it.
Playability/Replayability: I certainly wouldn't want to go through a game like this twice, let alone once. This game got returned really fast and my money back.
Graphics: Characters have a fair amount of detail. The backgrounds, however, don't. If viewed carefully, all the blocks will be shown clearly and the game will feel even more cheap.
Sound: ''Clatter'' ''arf'' ''cling'' ''ting'' ''creek'' ''screech'' This is all you hear throughout the game. Feels a bit like PC pacman on one really old PC don't it? Add these sounds with horrible voice acting of overprojected voices and you have Forever Kingdom.
Buy it or rent it: Neither. Don't buy or rent this game. Don't even intend on playing it. You don't want to go through the trouble of this game's poor quality.
