NBA Street Vol. 2
Review by Golden Vegeta
"This is my favorite basketball game ever!"
When I first played the first NBA Street, it was a knockout, total fun in the basketball game. Now that the second is out, it has surpassed the first and brought a new look for basketball games.
Gameplay - The style is pretty much the same as the previous game, but this one has updated teams, more players, and more moves. It's easy to get hooked on to, it's a blast to play, and it's up to 4 players (but I still do prefer 1v1 with my friends).
Controls - Pretty basic and the same as the first NBA Street, except a few different tweaks, plus some new moves (kick pass, pass off the backboard and such).
Graphics - Good graphics, nothing I will complain with, I'm not much of a graphic fan though, so I'm easily pleased, the gameplay is solid and that's what is important in my mind. If you do care about graphics, well, they are flashly, upbeat, and good enough for you to know who's on your team and who's not, so why should you complain?
Sound - The music is fair I suppose, I don't really listen to it that much, I'm too into beating my friends and such to listen, but it's not horrible and it's not bothersome and it's...well, I never pay that much attention to it. But hey, I won't bash on it.
Replayibilty - You'll be playing this one with your friends a lot, and the computer as well. I find it always fun to play, anytime. The create a player is pretty nice as well, letting you do as you wish to, well, make a player that you want.
You'll be playing this one for a good while, many unlockables, courts and old-school players basically. The teams are updated and some stats changed, new moves, and you know, what you'd usually expect in a new sports game of any kind. 4-player, so that means you and your buddies can be enjoying this one all at the same time. The teams are pretty accurate too, along with the players. All the NBA teams are in htis one plus the Present-Day all-stars and the Old-School players such as Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, and many, many others.
OVERALL - 10/10, it's a blast, and it's by far one of the best NBA games out there, 3 on 3 done to perfection! Plus Street is cool, so you can show off your moves with your buddies on this one, one of the best $50 bucks you can spend on a basketball game.
