"A almost perfect, but perfect game!"

Those of you have followed matrix or have liked the little tid bits that they give the aura of matrix (the bullet time). You will love this game.

Enter the Matrix (ETM for short) is a well made mixture between driver/shooter. Yet the great sweet smelling bullet time is what makes this game shine, with the special combinations of bullet time and close combat and let alone run and gunning. Anyone who loves max pain will be hooked in a heartbeat. Now the game is a normal game you will have the tough times of exploring and getting aggravated. The controls are well mapped for all the consoles, but for me the ps2 controls are perfect. A fault that the game had for the shooter portion that I did not like was that the way you shoot the ''bad guys'' is the game auto targets for you when you have your guns out and I think the game would be a lot better if you could aim the cursor instead of auto aim.

The story has some things that confused me and I am a big fan. The plot just confused me because the story just bounces back in forth to different parts of the story. I got to admit though the DVD movies are good, but they are kind of shall I say ''cheesy'' but they get out the point to follow the story.

The sound is really good, when you hit bullet time you can tell because the bullets whiz by and you can hear them slowly go by you. The graphics I think could have been a little better. But ETM's graphics are good, but I think it is better graphics than the ps2 version of max pain. And the way the bullets and just the way everything looks when you’re in bullet time looks really well made.

I would say it takes at least for a hardcore gamer, about 6-10 hours depending on how into it they are. There is much replay ability, because you can unlock things by hacking into the matrix.

Finally this game I would recommend for any fan of Max Pain and if you just like the matrix just rent this and try it out and decide from that. But bought this game knowing it was worth it, without even playing it. Definitely a must have, unless your sketchy of it being another max pain, in which case I said earlier, rent to try it out and see for yourself on how this game plays.
