World Tour Soccer 2003

"This is Not Impressive"
Having played Fifa 2003 to death I wanted a new game to keep me busy. After deciding between Pro Evolutiont and TIF. I chose this one.
I got home put the disc in and was greeted by a good looking intro movie. So trying an Exhibition Match. I was played as Middlesbrough against some random team.
Straight Into the match the graphics seemed good. The stadium was done well. Everything was there except when I got into the Match. Now I'm not saying the gameplays bad because its not. Its just rather annoying when players go down for literally every tackle.
Going for my first goal I pass to my attacker and what happens the ball bounces off the referee to the oppisition. To me this must have been a rare occurence so i passed it off as a realism feature. I built myself up again and went for goal. Took a shot from the box and just pressed Circle no direction involved it was a direct shot and it goes wide. I must say although it was easier in fifa the shooting physics are a lot better in Fifa as are the Tackling Physics.
The match went like that until I actually scored. I wasnt impressed there didn't seem to be an atmosphere to it. The crowd didnt roar up and the celebrations seemed unreal.
But There is a hell of a lot of Competitions to choose from with many unlockable goodies. Also it includes a career mode in which you take a team and build it up from schoolboy level to world class.
Now for the graphics. It would appear that they didnt bother with kits in this game which Is a shame seeing as the actually in game graphics are good and realistic to say the least. But I didn't buy the game to see the kits so this can be excused.
The Music and Sounds. Theres One Track of Music and its not exactly great in fact far from it. Now the commentary. Theres only one commentator. It's pretty decent commentary although after a few matches you feel as if you've heard all the lines over and over.
Now as I said before its not a bad game just could do with a bit of work. They have competitions and Game modes covered perfectly theres enough to keep many people busy. If they improve the Tackling and Shooting then they could be onto a real winner with it.
