"Better then LOW 1 but still could be better"

Legends of Wrestling II is Acclaim's second installment of their LOW series. This game is better then LOW I but it could of been better. On with the review.
Graphics-8/10
The graphics in LOW II are pretty good but the wrestlers still look cartoony. The promotors on the game are very well done and fit in perfectly with the game. The auidence is only is realy the only flaw with the graphics. The auidence looks like blobs of color, unlike the wrestlers.
Gameplay-6/10
The gameplay is pretty much the same in that it still uses the ISP system. An improvement over LOW I is that it is actually easier to get on the top rope in LOW II. Other then that gameplay gets a six.
Roster-9/10
The roster in LOW II is a great roster but it could be better. This roster has about 62 wrestlers and six promoters making a grand total of around 68 playable characters. Almost every legend you could think of is in this game. From Hulk Hogan to Andy Kaufman you name the legend and you'll propably find them in this game. I say the roster could be better for a reason, that reason is that a lot of great legends are NOT on this game. I wondered this question since LOW I where is Lou Thez, Verne Gagne, Nick Bockwinkle, or even Dusty Rhodes. But the roster in the game is good enough to earn the roster a nine.
Story/Season/Career Mode-10/10
Because this is a wrestling game there's no real story but there is a Career Mode. The Career Mode is very thought out with specific storylines to go through. More likely then not you will never play the same story twice. Throughout the Career Mode you will unlock wrestlers and promoters that you can buy in the shop of LOW II. Career gets a ten because of how good it is.
CAW-7/10
The Create A Legend (CAL) mode returns with a little improvement but not a lot. There are some legends you can make spot on and others that you can't. One big legend that can not be made spot on in CAL is Ric Flair. Ric Flair really can't be made spot on because there are no robes in the entrance attire selection. Some newer wrestlers can be made relitivly easily. Those wrestlers would inculde Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Kurt Angle. So CAL gets a 7.
Replayabilty-9/10
There's a lot to unlock in this game, however it will take a while to unlock everything in this game. Main reason is because first you must unlock certain wrestlers and promotors in the shop before you can buy them. It will also take you a while to get the coins needed for each of the hidden wrestlers/promotors. You can't earn Red or Blue during gameplay so you have to gamble for them using your Green Coins and that can take awhile too. So because of the length of time it will take you to unlock everything replayabilty gets a nine.
Rent/Buy
I always recommend renting a game before you buy it. I bought this game because find it to rent it. Wrestling games are hard to rent. But I always say rent before you buy I do that with movies too. But it really depends on you in the Rent/Buy section.
I hope you found this review imformitive, and I hope to review even more games in the future. Thank You.
