"What was EA Thinking?"

EA is a company known for making many great sports games like Madden, NBA, and their Tiger Woods series of games. But somehow EA didnt just get it right when making this game.

First of the graphics in this game are horrible. People who have played many if EA's games in the past know that when it comes to EA the graphics are bar-none. Well its sad to say that if you even played this game you wouldnt even know its a game made by EA. Some of the character models in the game look very blocky. The game isnt on DVD, but even so I have seen many a game that has bette graphics on it even not being on a DVD.

The music of the game is great and all the sounds of a race are very well put into the game, but once again it doesnt make up for the graphics at all. I still didnt feel like I was even in an F1 race let alone a race at all.

The controls of the game are very very easy to get use to its just that the turning is very hard, but once you get used to it the game doesnt become a challenge at all. I was able to take the lead after the very first turn at one track and then win. The one thing that did tend to make me very upset was the fact that it is way too easy to wreck. Crashing on this game can, at the most, make you automacially lose the race.

There isnt too much when it comes to replayability when it comes to this game. You can race a couple of seasons and you cant even race as any of the pros. I was hoping to at least have the ability to play as Schumaker and race through at least one of the seasons or race with im alone, but sadly I was yet disapointed. You can however race and get points by how well you drive in each race. You can then use these points during your season and fix up your car.

Being a EA sports title I guess I was expecting alot more, but I was very disapointed when it came down to it. I must say this game is definately a rent. If you really are a hardcore fan of F1 then this is the game for you.
