Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon

"I like me some Gouf"

Over the past decade we have found ourselves with gundam games that make us almost hate the Gundam series itself! I love Gundam(all except for G Gundam;DBZ plus mecha...yech!) I was introduced to the series by my brother and the only thing I could say was,''MAN WHAT IF THE MADE A GAME OUT OF THIS!'' Bandai did; it sucked. Then they made Journey to Jaburo it had potential, but still sucked! Zeonic Front came out a little later, this game truly showed off the possibilities in a gundam game, not great but good. Then finally Federation vs Zeon came out, did I mention that, the best gaming company ever, CAPCOM also had a part in the gameplay department! *drools*

Gameplay: 10/10
Does anyone here like Armored Core and wish it were like Zone of Enders? Bandai, with the help of CapCom, made a game that almost does just that. If you don't like MECHA then don't play this game. It is a mech game with fast paced action and every robot fan should love it! Every suit has 3 types of weapons and... OMG it is just your normal everyday mech game with a little innovation! :) With about 50 suits there are about 50 ways to play this game! Also, YES YOU CAN PLAY AS THE ZEON FORCES IN THIS... SIEG ZEON!

Story: 10/10
This game truly sticks with the original Mobile Suit Gundam storyline. If you play through the story onthe feddie side, you can pretty much get the whole story from the original series by finishing the game, but wait... there's more! If you chose to play on the Zeon side(SIEG ZEON!) You can see an alternate story in which you completely crush the Federation's forces. -insert evil *but yet moronic* laugh here-

Controls: 10/10
PSSST hey, did you know that when a company developes controls for a game they work on them till they are perfectly suited for the game... yeah, unless there is something wrong(such as slow reaction) then the controls are always the best they can be!

Graphics: 8/10
Not the best I've seen in a game; actually I think that Zeonic front(released before this game) has better graphics overall, but the graphics in the mechs are flawless! Nothing wrong here, just not superb graphics.

Sound: 9/10
Please get a surround sound system for this game! You can actually her the beam rifle behind you when Amuro cocks his gun. You can sense the feeling of the missles from Ryu's Guntank on the left. FvZ DX's sounds , aside from the graphics, ARE SUPERB.

Cool Points: 10/10
-Over 50 mobile suits for mass destruction
-Zeon or Federation... you decide
-Includes the Japanese arcade version of the same title(2 games in one!)
-Best Gundam game to date
-Most importantly, you can play as a Gouf!

Overall: 10/10(not an average)
This game is definatly worth your 30 bucks. This is one of those games you will keep playing and wish you could get your daily dosage of it(like Halo*drools*) Oh yeah, did I mention I like me some Gouf! The Gouf is the ultimate suit; you will find out once you rush out of your house and buy this game!
