Ape Escape 2

"This Game is WAY Better Than I Ever Expected!"

Ape Escape is your basic platformer but, much better. Specter is the bad guy and his idea you ask? To control all the monkeys and use them to destroy the world. Well, this is tied for my favourite game of the year(with Final Fantasy X) and you have to at least rent this to give it a try or even buy it right away(I think it's worth it to buy first but, it's your call)! Well, let my go into details.

Graphics-10
I love the cartoony feel of this game. Also, the monkey look cool wearing pants and cloaks and even sometimes a sword and shield! This makes the monkeys funner to catch because you want to know what they look like. Also, they did a good job with the gadgets. It's amazing!

Sound-10
This is some of the best in-game music that I've heard in a long time. The music isn't repetitive because there is a different tune for each of the twenty levels. You can also win soundtracks of the music from the levels and not from the levels at the Gotcha Box. You can then listen to the music at the Entertainment Center.

Gameplay-9
This game is fun for a long time but, then you'll want to start again! The only flaw is most monkeys are easy to catch so most will get about 10 hours or more of gametime.
This depends on how fast or slow you are because some have done it in less. But, there are 300 of the monkeys to find and 20 levels and that's what really matters.

Voice Acting-10
This is like Pokemon but, better. The cast is truly talented and you have to get used to this because there will be a lot of talking(in the game, there are very little cinemas).

Plot-10
Specter and his evil monkeys try to take over the world and Jimmy has to stop it. He is given 10+ gadgets(like a monkey net) to capture all 300 monkeys and stop Specter's evil plans. This is a great plot I think because a monkey army with 300 monkeys is to funny to even imagine!

Replayability-9
This has alot of replayability but, will get tiring after many hours of searching and beating the monkeys and boss monkeys. This is a awesome game worth playing over and over and over!

Rent or Buy- Buy
This is a perfect game for monkey-lovers and a perfect game for Platformer and Collection game-lovers and is even worth a rent at least for the non monkey-lovers. This is a game worth everyone's time!
