"Best action RPG hands down."

Introduction

I will start off by saying this game's plot is possibly the greatest plot I have or will ever see in any game or even movie for that matter. This is the kind of game that a person will love with all their soul or really hate, but I really loved this game with every spec of my being. Now onto the review parts.

Story 10/10

This is what really makes this game special, because it has a evil yet a romantic plot. The story is about are dark glyph warrior Sieg Wahrheit trying to stop his old friend that has been possessed by grief. His old friend, Victor Delacroix is enraged at Sieg, because Sieg has killed the woman he loves. So Victor Delacroix's goal is to reunite the three worlds together including Azrial, so he can be with his love's soul forever. Sieg now has to try to do anything in his power to stop this deadly threat to all mankind.

Gameplay 8/10

The way you advance in levels is by going through stages. In these stages there will be several different kinds of monsters, and at the end of every stage there will be a boss monster you will have to defeat. Along the way through the stages there will be certain monsters you must kill. If it comes up on the screen saying kill the target you have to kill the monster with target over it. Sometimes it will ask you to kill all of the monsters in the area. You will always play as Sieg Wahrheit in every stage except for one. In that stage you will use the young beautiful woman, Arcia. Her weapons are her pistols and her feet. There are monsters you can summon to help you during battle The only way to obtain these are to beat the stages, and get them at the end of them. The reason it didn't get it a ten out of ten was because of the way you advance through the game. That is the only thing I did not like about it.

Graphics/Sound 10/10

The FMV sequences were amazing, they are brilliantly put together. The characters, monsters, terrain, anything you can think of was put together perfectly. The sound was also perfect when you attacked you could really hear it clearly. The game's theme song, Fly by Liv was a very touching song that will give you a chill up your spine.

Playtime/Replayability 8/10

This game is extremely difficult to beat. I would say you would spend a good twenty five hours until you can beat it. The replayabilty probably will not be good for many, because this game is so amazingly shocking and touching you will not be able to react the same way seeing it for the second time.

Final Recommendation

My final recommendation is this is the kind of game you will love or hate, so you might want to rent it before you make a decision on buying it. If you like games like Devil May Cry or Dynasty Warriors or just games with a gloomy scene I say to you go buy this game. This will be the perfect game for you.
