"When Dynasty Warriors fuses with Dmc"

Story: 8

You seem to be some guy sent in from the order to take out some Renegade by the name of Victor Delecroix, This guy is pretty pissed off at the main Character (Seig) because he killed a woman that he must of loved or cared about alot. So he goes to the ends of the earth to find glyphs to bring unholy pay back on your ass for doing such a horrible thing. Alot of hidden mysteries of the past lays in deep of the game that the cutscenes play with perfection. Chaos Legion is a Dark murky Gothic opera played to perfection.

Action/Control: 9

CL has some basic and easy to remember controls to stark any novice off on the right path, But after you get a knack for them the game kicks into a insane difficulty! Enemies coming from all directions and not stopping. Soon you find yourself jumping 20 feet in the air crashing down on punk demons, kicking bombs into the faces of mean metal creatures and overall just laying the smack down on any soul that has enough balls to enter your court of pain. To aid you in your one way ticket to badass land, Seig gets to control a small squad of demons that goes by the name of Legions, Legions come in many different forms like Guilt, a Knight type Legion that has very fast and strong attack powers, Malice that is a Archer type that Seig can direct where he wants them to attack and whatnot. You gotta use your head though, you cant just throw any legion in a battle and expect to have a easy time. Some legions are worth jack squat when faced uo against the right type of monster, so brains come into play. Then as a treat for the players who didn't give up while playing the game you get a treat to play as a extra character that goes by the name of Arcia, This girl packs two thick ass Pistols that will make Dante blush. The cool thing about Arcia is that she has a totally different Move set from Seig and she can't command Legions either. So her game is a we bit harder and takes a bit more moving around to make it out of her stage, all in all she is a nice treat for the games to play as when you get kinda bored with Seig.

Sound/Graphics: 9

First off let me get to the Music thats in the game. CL is filled with dark toned Techno/Opera tunes that really makes you feel like you were playing Devil May Cry all over again But be sure not to drop the joystick and start snapping your fingers cuz If you do that you're dead you dig? Sound Effects are very authentic also, from feet scuffing on sand and rocks when running on mountains and ruined terrain, to smooth layouts like palaces and whatnot. Voice acting, The game has VA's in a large amount that can be used right from the start like Japanese,English and Spanish. Well I played the game in English, at first I wasn't really feeling the voice talent. It sounded way too corney....but after playing for a while I grew on to it and began to enjoy it :). Graphics time I see, lets do this. CL looks like it's in the middle of DMC 1 in graphic design. Alot of the animations in the game looks a bit like Dante's and the character model sports the short hair and badass swagger to boot. Thats where the DMC comparison drops off, the backgrounds are very dank and ruined which really fits in this fact because I don't think monsters would keep a place nice and tidy . Then finally the CG, what can I say it looks awesome...but not as good as other games that have Cg like RE0 or Clock Tower 3 (past Capcom Games)

Replay/Final Thought: 8

IMO CL is a breath of fresh air from this gaming drought that the summer seem to embrace every year. Im happy this game is here for me to play and im happy that this game is damn fun to boot. Now for the people who wonders if they will play again? I think you will the game has challeng written all over it . Once you beat the game play through with Arcia or max out your Legions. their is plenty to do in CL it will atleast keep you playing till something else comes out :)
