"Popular Japanese anime series which spawned into a dating type sim on the Ps 2."

1)Introduction

This game spawned from the popular Japanese anime series Sakura Taisen or Sakura Wars in English. It was really popular in Japan and soon spread to other parts of Asia with translations done in Mandarin and also spawned on many consoles such as the Sega Saturn, the Sega Dreamcast, the Cd-Rom version for the PC, and finally the Playstation 2. It also had its own Tv series, Three Ova’s and Its very own movie.

2)Story 10/10

The story was about a guy who works as a ticket clipper in a popular theatre company with 6 female actresses playing different characters in plays by day, and the Manager, which was also the director of all the plays. But when there was trouble, they would become a secret force, which drove giant colorful robots to fight the villains by night with the ticket clipper being the leader of the group and all the girls as his assistants, and the director being the commander of the force. But when there is peace in Japan, ticket clipper would have to choose his girlfriend amongst the six girls, which sometimes create headaches.

3)Graphics 9/10

Graphics wise, this game was expected to be great with previous Sakura Taisen games having great graphics. But this game really blew the rest of the Sakura Taisen Games away. The graphics were great and livid. Even things like fountains came alive and looked really good. You can also collect the different collectable cards of the girls in their respective best, which are a joy to look at.

4)Sound 8/10

The music in this sound is superb as usual, but pales in comparison with the previous Sakura Taisen games, with less tunes and more or less the same ones with not many new tunes. However, the tunes already in existence were remixed with a different feel to it, thus improving the overall quality.

5)Gameplay 7/10

Game play wise, the game system is similar to the system that existed in the recent Sakura Taisen series for the Dreamcast. The controls can really be difficult sometimes, but most of the time the controls are easy to control and execute.

6)Difficulty 5/10

This game is not as tough as it looks, the game is fairly straightforward and unless you really messed up with the feelings of the girls, you should have no problems with the different battles available in the game.

7)Overall 9/10

Overall, This game is great if you’re a great fan of Rpg’s and Japanese Anime, There is a high replay value for this game as you try to get the different six girls to be your girlfriend, which leads to the six different endings available.
