"There's animals in this game. Somewhere. I promise."

Well, I'll admit that I don't really enjoy hunting games. To me, the statement ''shooting people is simply funner than shooting animals,'' is a fact, and not an opinion.

Anyway, I went over to my friend's house and he had borrowed a game titled Big Game Hunter . He told me it was a fun game, so we decided to play it. He lied ; this game is terrible.

Graphics - 9/10

The graphics are beautiful. I want to say something bad about them, but I really can't. Everything looks extremely realistic, and the shadows look nice too.

Interaction - 2/10

When you shoot a vehicle, nothing happens. It's like shooting a wall. Even if you shoot the tires, nothing happens. Shooting water makes the exact same noise as shooting a tree, which is simply pathetic. Games like GoldenEye make you curious of what will happen if you shoot a certain item. Games like Big game Hunter, don't, since everything is identical.

Fun Factor - 3/10

Not fun, period. It takes seriously an hour to see an animal. Sure, that might be fun for hardcore hunters that wants a realistic effect. Even when do actually find an animal, you have about a 70% chance of actually shooting it before it runs off, laughing at you. I'm not a very patient guy, so this really annoyed me. In my opinion, the funnest thing in this game is the vehicles, even though they do have craptascular handling, and poor Well, I'll admit that I don't really enjoy hunting games. To me, the statement ''shooting people is simply funner than shooting animals,'' is a fact, and not an opinion.

Sound - 7/10

Other than the fact that all the items make the same noise when shot, the sound is very impressive. You hear realistic environmental sounds, like wind, dogs barking. (Though I've tried to find a dog to shoot ; It's not there. :-p) You also hear the annoying sound of your character's feet hitting the ground as he walks. And then, after you find an animal to shoot, and it gets away, you hear yourself scream at the top of your lungs, although that's not actually in the game.

Buy or Rent?

Neither, unless you are a very serious hunter, since this game isn't fun for anyone but someone who actually likes the realistic affect of waiting an hour for a deer to appear, and then it gets away. Stuff like that makes me want to kick my mom right in the face.

Overall, I give it a 4/10.
