Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII

"I'm a man of strategy, but this...."

I have been a fan from dynasty warriors for years now. I never knew about the history of this until I got Dynasty Warriors 4. That is the perfect game. A few days ago I saw this game. This was named after the real deal. I started playing it but its kinda boring. And you don't do much. It hurts me to rant about this game because its mostly about the other dynasty warriors games but I have no choice.

Graphics: 4/10

Not much better than the other games I played. Graphics aren't that good. I was hoping for better graphics. They could have made it better. Well that's life isn't it? Just can't get what you always want.

Music/Sound: music is kind of dull and sound is okay.

The music isn't very one that can get stuck in your head. And there isn't good sound either. The only good sounds were when your in battle. The swords, spears, and bows and crossbows sounded kind of real. The fire you set also sounds good.

Story: 1/10

In this story, you must choose the time of the history. You be as many officers as you want. (better to choose one). Once you start the game, you will have to apply to a kingdom. Then you mostly just choose tactics to do on the enemy and train and do jobs that your leader told you to do. Not very exciting. And battles hardly come to you. I was only in 3 battles. And I lost them all :(.

Difficulty: even

Easy, Hard, you be the judge. Half and half is what I say. Like I said you mostly do jobs from your commander and train your moves. The hard part is if you somehow get in a battle. Very hard the battle is. So it has its ups and downs, so the difficulty's scales are even.

Overall: 3/10

From my point of view I wouldn't say this game is good. Others may so let them see it that way. I have no problem with it. This game just isn't my type.

Buy/Rent: if you like brain games buy it. Others should rent like I did.

Well that's all I have to say. I've insulted the history enough. Every game has its ups and downs like I said before. The real history was cool but this game doesn't hit the spot. Get Dynasty Warriors 3,4. They are perfect. And that concludes my review for this game. Any questions?
