"Get In the Game Literally!"

There is only one word to describe this game WOW. After playing this game and finishing it I've decided to write a review of the game. Not only has Activision updated their game every year with little tweaks, this year they've went above and beyond anyone's expectations.

Gameplay - First off the moment you start playing the game you'll realize tons of new features. The biggest is the ability to get off your board. No more running into walls to get to the perfect spot or throwing your controller against the wall when you get to an awesome place and fall off. Just simply hit L1 and R1 and you'll be off your board in no time. You can even get off your board while in a combo and extend the combo. Then there is the ability to drive in game. The driving system is great and every car has a different feel to it. There are also a couple of little things added too. The hip transfer, the acid drop, and pressure flips have been added too. Also say good bye to having to find stat points. This time your going to have to earn them. If you want to grind better start grinding. You'll be rewarded with stat points for doing certain objectives. Like grind for 10 seconds or do a 720 grab trick. It makes the game better that way
Gameplay 10/10

Story- Yes there is a story. And the story is all about you. Yes with a digital camera you can send a picture of your self and download your face into the game. Once you get that your ready to start the story mode. The story revolves around you and your friend Eric Sparrow. It starts off in New Jersey where you learn Chad Muska is coming to record a video there. From there the story becomes fun and interesting. The cut scenes are a great change of pace and this is the first time I can say there is a good story mode in a sports video game.
Story - 10/10

Graphics- The graphics are excellent. One of the things that make the graphics excellent is the face mapping and the level of details put into the face. The game itself is also great graphically. With new board physics the board will go all over the place after you bail.
Graphics 9/10

Sound- The game that made soundtracks important returns again with another great soundtrack. The soundtrack features old and new bands. There are three genre's punk, rock, and rap. If you don't like a genre you can choose to not listen to a whole genre. Another great soundtrack. Also the sound effects in the game are great. From the grind sounds to the sounds of the deck the sounds are great.
Sound - 9/10

Re playability- This game is going to keep me hooked for a long time as have all the games in the Tony Hawk series. Especially since this will be the first time I'm going online with the series. The secret tapes are back also so that'll keep me busy for a while also.
Re playability- 9/10

Online- The online feature seems to be great although I haven't spent much time with it. There was no lag that I've experienced so far. The games are great, firefight is a great addition to the bunch of game modes already available.

Customization- Create a deck is awesome. There are tons of styles to choose from and then the customization continues with everything from stickers to multiple designs. Create a trick is also awesome. I've already created a couple of tricks and I love that I can pull them off online and see others pull them off online too. Create a park is great. With so many updates and the ability to put goals in, the game will never get old. Create a player is deep considering they had to have a lot of things for the face in the game feature.
Customization- 10/10

Final thoughts- As you can tell I can't get enough of this game. It is the best in the series and is one of my favorite games of all time. This game will keep me busy until THUG2.
Overall(not a average)-10/10
