"This game is the best of football games!!"

MAN! This game is so addictive that the moment I played this game, I couldn't get my eyes on any other game and that's saying something as I have GTA: Vice City, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Dynasty warriors(As you can see from my contributor name). Fifa 2003 can't even get near the perfect gameplay of this game. Fifa 2003 may have superior graphics but it's nothing in terms of gameplay. Now, let's get back to the review.

The graphics aren't bad but it's nothing to write home about. The player models aren't the best but they acceptable. The replys are pretty good though. You can control the camera angle and the speed of the replay too. Many of the football superstars look alike. e.g Veron looks like Henry( My favourite player ). Overall, the graphics are above average but can be improved.

The stadium effects are spot on. The crowd is very active and supports the team which is playing better. The commentatery is much better from PES2(I haven't played it but many people say it's better). There statements are more accurate and make much more sense. In the previous games, they used to say,''It's a goal kick. Oh! Sorry. It's a corner.''

Two words! Totally awesome! There are all the regular modes like exhibition, league and cup modes but the best of them all is the Master League mode. In this mode, you start with a team of no-name players. You win matches to get ML points. These points can be used to tranfer superior players to your team. Now there's the option of trading one of your players with one of another club's. This option is very helpful because then you wouldn't have to pay as much points. There's also the PES shop from where you can buy unlockables. These points can be aqquired by playing matches. These points are more difficult to come by because only 50 points are added to your total after every match. You can get 2000+ points if you win the division cup or the WEFA Championship. Goalkeepers are much more agile and save goals with much more ease with spectacular dives and charges. The speed of the game has also been slowed down so that you can apply a little more strategy into your gameplay. The only flaw is that there should be a power bar when doing a penalty. Other than that problem, the gameplay is incomparable.

The replay value is pretty good. With the PES points to be earned and all the modes to be played, this is one game you will be playing for many years to come.
