SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs

Gameplay: 10/10
The gameplay is some of the best FPS gameplay out there. Socom is THE game that got me into playing FPS’s. I have tried other FPS games like Medal of Honor and others, and they just were not as good as socom. Socom 2 keeps it there, with better gameplay, more realistic style, and better control of you team. For people like me that haven’t enjoyed many FPS’s in the past, try Socom 2, because it’s just that good.

Graphics: 10/10
Awe-Inspiring. That’s all there is to say about the graphics. They are so good. During the night, you look up, see the stars. In the jungle, theres gnats flying all around you. In the slums, the shacks are rusted, the fences crooked. Everything is so realistic. Definitely up to par with all the other next-gen games.

Sounds:9/10
Great, but the rest of the game is so much better, you hardly have time to stop and listen. When you do, they really are amazing. The music is good, with songs that match the scenario you are playing in. The sound effects are amazing, too. The whoosh of a rocket, the bullets from a gun, the sounds of your surroundings, it's all there. Another thing that makes the game fun is the taunts. There are some funny taunts out there. Definitely some good sound effects.

Replay Value:10/10
So good you will play it til socom 3, because as I have said before, it’s just that good. While the offline mode may last only til you beat it once or twice on its highest level, the online will keep you hooked for a long, long time.

Online Play: 10/10
Surgeon Generals Warning: Playing online will result in massive weight loss and exhaustion.
The online mode is Great. You can get on there and play with tons of people form all over. There really is a great community, even if you do sometimes meet some rude people. This is what makes Socom 2 replayable, so much that you will wonder where the times gone. While the offline mode is great, I would recommend getting broadband just for this game.

Final Recommendation
A must-have game of the year. If you only have the money to buy 1 game this next year, try Socom 2, you won’t be disappointed. Even if you don't want to get the game yet, rent it and try it out, I almost guarantee you will decide to buy it.

-Great game with some of the Best Replay Value.
-Fun to play with friends, family.

Con
-The online ranking system. It sometimes doesn’t update your info for a few days, which sucks, but is trivial.
