"Frustrating"

WILD WILD RACING is a buggy racer, but not a very good one, please read on full a full analysis of this game.

Gameplay - The gameplay in this game possibly turn the 8 or 9/10 into the 5/10. The controls are possible the most annoying controls in any racer ever made! The acceleration button is slow to react (and that is not just my controller, it is the game) and the brakes lock up the steering. It is just impossible to get on the right track, you will be going all over the place.
Overall, I give the gameplay a score of 2/10.

Graphics - The buggies themselves look quite good. They all have very different designs so you have a nice range of different types of buggies. The scenery is very basic, you just have a few trees in the background, the mud tracks are brown and the snow tracks are white. The trees in the background don't move in the wind, they are completely static. But the good detail in the buggies makes the graphics bearable.
Overall, I give the graphics a score of 6/10.

Sound - The sound will do fine, just your general sound roaring and some music in the background. Also, when you select a car for a race there is the sound of some weird announcer bloke saying the cars name!Maybe the sound could have been bettered by some licensed tunes playing in the background, like Gran Turismo 3 does.
Overall, I give the sound a score of 7/10.

Lastability - Well, it will take you ages to unlock all the cars and complete all the frustratingly hard little challenges. But if you can be bothered with doing all of this on a sub-standard game then you must be mad!
Overall, I give the lastability a score of 6/10.

Replayability - I assure you that, unless you have a mate over and want a quick race, you will probably never play this game again once you have completed it all (that is if you can be asked to complete it all!).

Buy or Rent? - If you want to complete the game then buy it, because it will take you ages. But usually just a quick blast of it will satisfy you that you have done everything that needs to be done on this game.

Overall - WILD WILD RACING made every effort to be a good buggy racer, but they failed terribly. As I said before, less annoying controls would change everything about this game.
