Unlimited Saga

"U-Saga, A misunderstood game"
Unlimited Saga. A game set in a period of the seven wonders and the mystery they left behind. Seven adventures embark on a quest and each of them have a different objective. All of there stories unite at the festival of Regina Leone.
Unlimited Saga comes from the Saga Frontier series. I never played any of those two so I cannot judge those but in my opinion, unlimited saga is a great rpg for rpg fans young and old. this is the type of game that you will be able to enjoy for hours on hand. With the in-depth character's to the all out adventure system, it will grab you and never let go.
Gameplay,
I give gameplay a 10 out of 10. The unique battle system and how it utilizies a reel system instead of the normal hitting X to attack on the control pad. It provides more action and thrill to the game not to mention a new level of difficulty.
This game has one bad thing about it and it is how unpredictable what happens on the map is. You never know quite exactly what lies around the corner and what is coming up.
IMO, I think this game was/is extremely fun to play. I’ve done two stories and I tell you, they were Great! They had tons of difference to them and new twists along with new adventures and towns. The rewards were also different too! This game will grab you and not let you down untill you beat it!
Not only is there all that good typical RPG stuff in here, there is the new choose your adventure which makes this game fun and exciting. With all the disasters and side quests that happen, you should not and probably will not get bored with this game!
Storyline
THE best part of the game I give it a 10 out of 10. Seven different stories and a plethora of characters gives the game and enrichment to the RPG world. All stories start off in a different place and with all of the characters you get in different stories, including how you get some mamin characters into some of them, this makes this game great because you can experiment with formations and tactics in battling and on the map.
Along with the storyline comes the epic battles. The final boss is one of the hardest ones out there making you so determined to beat you won't give in at any time at all.
The story line is also developed very well with the number of characters and the main characters. This game is a good mix between a video game and what you would see as yourself on the map as the ''pin'' (the thing that represents yiour main character.
You get to use 7 characters in your party which also adds a new twist to the game.
Graphics and Sounds
I give sound a 10 but the graphics I give a 6. The music in this game is magnificent. The sound designers and orchestra did a great job for the battle themes and the music for the towns.
Graphics are the weak point for there are really only graphics in battles. they could have done better on it. For instance, when characters have dialogue boxes in towns, which these are rare to begin with, thw bubbles are in reality just floating out there in space, there is also very little voice in the game besides in battles. To my knowledge, there are two video scenes, the one when you put the disc in and the one at the festival of Regina Leone. These CG’s are wonderfully done, they flow right along with no problem at all but they needed more of that for this game.
Play Time
10 out of 10
With seven characters, at a MINIMUM of 20 hours each, that’s at least 140 hours of gameplay. This game just with the stopryline takes all that time. If you decide to get into many battles in your quests then it may take even longer than that.
Replayability
8 out of 10
This game is definetly worth replaying. To get new weapons or maybe even new techs for your characters, you should replay this game. Also, it’s worth replaying to see whether or not other characters wouldn;t do well in other categories.
Recommendation
I would recommend buying this game either brand new or buying it off of ebay for the low prices they have. You will have a blast with this game because I know I did. Il listened to some of the review out there and I was dishearted by what they said so I rented it first, and I loved the game! So IMO, you should rent it first so you don't end up spending money you won't get back. I hope you enjoy the game and found my review helpful.
Overall I would rank this game with a 8 out of 10.
