"Dang! I bought this on a whim, but It's kept my attention more than any game I own"

I was looking for a platformer for my little brother, and I saw Whiplash at EB. It was ten dollars cheaper, so I got it. Since my bro is 8, I didn't really think much about the quality of the game I was buying.
Anyhow, the game sat on my desk for a week, and I got a bit curious and popped it in.
Let me tell you now that I have to beat this game before December 28th, or I will have to buy another copy! I love this game! Usually, I'm not a single-player gamer. I play fighting games competitively, and fpses- basically anything that is multiplayer and puts you in competition with a live opponent. But Whiplash is hilarious, so it is in a league of it's own.
I've played a bit of Jak, ratchet, which are both cool (I like ratchet better). But the humor in Whiplash can't be beat. The random phrases (''We could make breakfast tacos''), and pure unadulterated fun of beating the *&^% out of everything and everyone with a rabbit on a chain cracks me up.
One of the reasons I don't like single player games normally is because they don't include your friends. I usually have at least 3 guests over on any given night, and few single-player games can entertain (with the exception of gta4). But Whiplash is fun enough to watch, so we grab some snacks and take turns mashing through the Genron facility, smashing up a storm.
A brief synopsis:
You play as Spanx, a mute weasel that has wires coming from his head from some electrical test by the evil mega-corporation, Genron. Spanx is chained to Redmond, who has somehow developed immortality through the testing of hairspray. Our two protagonists are boxed, and sent to the Recombinator to combine the two animals into a Weasit (Weasel-Rabbit), and they escape! Confronted nearly instantly by security guards, Spanx thinks quickly, and whacks the guards down with Redmond. A quick escape into a control room reveals a hidden voice, who offers help to guide Spanx and Redmond on to escape the Genron corporation...
I can't say enough how much this game makes me laugh. I've played the intro over 7 times now on seperate occasions to show different friends of mine. And it gets better each time (probably because I'm learning all the lines, and quoting them... much to the annoyance of my girlfriend). If you've ever seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and quoted it, you will understand what I'm talking about. It seems that this game runs great on the PS2, although I haven't checked out the Xbox version yet. My friend is getting the Xbox version next week, so I'll post a review in the Xbox section later revealing my thoughts and if I think it is any better.
So to clarify: If you like Space Ghost, you will like Whiplash!
