The King of Fighters 2000/2001

"The fight of your life! In 2 classics!"

Any one would be so crazy not to pick this up! Especially if your a die hard fan of the KOF series! This game is a MUST buy if you are a 2D fighting fan.

Story line:8
The story line is pretty good, Though not the best of, Some endings are pretty boring, But it 2001 i found the womens team quite funny! It was similar to hmm lets say almost all the kof series! I mean really, The womens team is kinda funny but it's the same to most of theirs! And Igniz? Kill him self? Those are the 2 thats flaws. Fatal fury team, Nests teams story was almost perfect. But i don't get it! When you don't play as the Nest's team you see a demo of the nests team. And you beat the nests team 2 stages ago! It doesn't stay much attention to your team!

Graphics+Character Design:9
KOF 2000 has pretty good graphics, Until it came to 2001 with those horrible fuzzyness. 2001 would rank a 7, But it's not the worst nor is it the best. THe KOF 2001 menu looks like it came from the year 1998. But glad KOF 2001 decided to spice it up a little, Just spice it up! The characters look out of place with those 3D backrounds. I love KOF's 2000 graphics! They look so straight and much more detailed. The character design in 2000 is to bright, But 2001 seemed to add more detail, Especially K's Picture. They used
the japanece playstation 2 version instead of the crappy NEOGEO version! ERRR, They look like aliens! So graphics 7 and design is 9.

Sound:7
Yet again an older game(2000) Seems to sound much more clear than the newer one.
This is where the game flaws. Though i like KOF 2001 sound track, I enjoyed it much more than 2000. The sound effects in KOF 2001 is BAD!
I enjoy KOF but KOF 2000 just shined on sound effects then KOF 2001 had to get all fuzzy! Uhhh definitily a 7!

Boy, This is so fun! In 2001 you can use up to 4 fighters or 3 strikers! If you choose a certain team( like choosing characters in the yellow box) You chose pyscho soldier team! And you can play through the story!

Controls(Dual schock):7
Yet another flaw, This would be much easier with a joy stick. Compatible with an analog yet it doesn't work!

Yes another great fighting game!
If you are a die hard fan of KOF, Drop that street fighter game and get this! NOW!
