Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne

"This game lacks cause of the ps2"

Well How do I start?????

Graphics:6 to 7
I give it this because most people know that max payne 2 really suffers when it comes to the graphics unfortunatelly the PS2 can't compare to the XBOX or PC versions in the graphics department but they are still better than max payne 1 graphics. I think if they made this game for PS2 from scratch it would have been better instead of translating it onto the PS2 meaning that it really suffers in frame-rate more than 3 to 4 men onscreen it seems like your in bullet time mode already but oh well.

Gameplay:7
Again this score should be a 9 however just as the graphics suffer so does the gameplay cause of how slow it can get but this does not mean its rubbish its far from it infact its superb but i just can't help but say again if MP:TFOMP was made from scratch it would have been better but still some of the things that happen in this game truly amaze the eye and even if you think cause of these scores or that the ps2 version does not match to the XBOX or PC version you don't want to get well I will shoot you since this is MY opinion.

Sound:9
Great cinematic music which goes relly well with a good cop gone bad type of game however it hurts to have to make sound the highest rating but hopefully IF Remedy make max payne 3 it should be very good in terms of gameplay and graphics

Replay Value:7.5
Now most people say the game is short well the MAIN GAME is short so why not play on hard the next time round or play New York Minute survival mode or Dead man walking mode trust me this game is not that short in replay value so I will give it a healthy 7.5

Conclusion
This game is a true masterpiece if you own an XBOX or PC but if you have it on PS2 then its only a good game not that I hate the ps2 or anything like that its just that the game really suffers im most departments and im glad to say that I returned Max Payne 2 on the ps2 for the xbox version and was not dissapointed.

Rent or Buy
I would rent this game If I own Ps2 but if your reading this and own an xbox or both xbox and ps2 then you SHOULD BUY on the xbox or the PC since they both out perform the ps2 and if you want to know the PC version is the best
